Nope, that is K510 not K550, big difference in unlocking price.

Has he been trying to unlock it? If you put the wrong code in to many times it will lock. If you phone Tesco and ask for your PUK number this should reset the phone.

Does anyone know how I can get a code to unlock my new sony ericsson k800i phone, so my daughter can use her payg sim card in it too. I have look but can't seem to find it for free. Cheers

You wont find it for free. I have SE DB2020 unlocking equipment which cost over £200 and if i need to unlock a CID 49 or 51 software version it costs me £10 additional. I charge £15 to the customer. If it is the newer CID 52 version the cost is £35.

If you can get it for free why would the worlds phone unlockers be paying what we have to pay?

Only way you can get the phone unlocked for free is by calling the network and doing a lot of begging, but they can take up to 28 days to get the code.

Hello and thanks for your reply. I was only looking in the web on how to unlock my phone, and came across sites offering free unlocking. So if you don't ask you don't get. But if I have to pay and cannot get free unlocking, then I shall have to go down this avenue.

Hi can anyone help i have jus recieved a samsung g600 as free upgrade on vodafone but i also need it to take a t-mobile sim card how can i unlock the phone as local shop have said they cant do it!!!

Find a shop that has NsPro.

It takes me 2 minutes to unlock a G600 with NsPro.

Cost should be about £10
