not yet as its a db3150 phone afaik. no one apart from se has the loaders to get into the phones firmware/filesystem.

Setool doesnt even detect the phone when my mate tried it :mad:

Hi there, if anyone can kindly please tell me where i can find shops that would be able to unlock the Sony Ericsson K550i phones i would be eternally grateful. I have heard Sony Ericsson's phones can only be unlocked via a shop, so if anyone can direct me to a trusthworthy and cheap place within the Bedforshire / Heartfordshire area that would be great.

K550i can be done at home with a £8 'cruiser' cable from eBay and £5 per phone to http://www.mrunlock.com/unlock-sony-ericsson-k510i-p-483.html ... depending on the shop quote, might be cheaper to buy the cable and do the pair of unlocks yourself and then just sell the cable off

Can anyone help, sons mobile is locked to tesco, and now he has an error message stating "network lock is blocked". He is unable to do anything at all with the phone.

ah, sorry about that just noticed it, I posted after seeing the sony request above
I have seen an unlock code on gsm forum but it screws up the imei, so will keep looking cheers
