This works on many Samsungs, note sure about the D900 but know it sorts the E900 out ...

    ----

First, whack in a disallowed sim, and at the wrong sim prompt, type in *#9998*3323#

press exit and then select "malloc fail" from the menu and wait for it to finish/reboot ...

Now type *0141# and then hit call (and get a message saying your phone is personalized)

Power down phone and insert a different provider SIM card other than the one that was in it.

Power back up your phone and at the SIM code prompt type 00000000, (that is 8 zeroes.)

For many at this point you are holding onto an unlocked handset :D

  • Can anyone help with a code to unlock my Siemens poppy CL75, which is currently locked to Tesco mobile, please? I searched on MSE and most seem to be locked to Virgin or have codes which don;t work on mine.

A website with a free code would be great, or cheap as possible! Hope someone can help?...

    Thanks

Before trying this on the D900 please read the thread, some have reported that this has completely ruined their phone

  • Hello MSE'ers,

I've got a bad dilema, i'm moving from tmobile tomorrow to 02 contract to save me some money on my major bills!

One problem, sim card has arrived and my handset which i bought on ebay is locked to tmobile/virgin. I debranded this myself using wotanserver wehn i bought it and i've identified that its CID52.

I now need help, tmobile have said its £15 but i have to wait 28 working days for the code.

Hope someone can help me this is kind of urgent now.

    Many thanks

    James :)

  • Hello. I recently posted to see if anyone could help with unlock codes for my samsung which is with vodafone? I have had no replied, does anyone know if they
    are they unlockable.
    Thank you
  • I wish I knew too - bought one for daughter and was told by local phone shop it would be no trouble to unlock - now they don't have the right leads in, whatever that means?

So daughter has a gorgeous LG Shine in Pink that she can't use as there is no Orange reception here (Despite being assured by Orange Staff that there was)

    Can anyone help??
  • Whoops - sorry for being a complete numpty, didn't see the sticky thread at top about unlocking phones

    Apologies to all x

you will have to either get the code from tmobile for £15 and wait or pay about £35 and get the code in a couple of days from davinciteam.

you may be lucky and find your local independent shop/market stall can unlock cid52 phones
