They sell them with a range of SIMs so the CPW F3's may be unlocked but you have to buy £10 airtime.

Yes the J600 can be unlocked but not for free.

I have been given a pink samsungX830 which was orginally an orange pay monthly phone when I try to use it with my PAYG orange sim the message "searching" or limited service keeps coming up any ideas or solutions?

if it was locked to orange, any orange sim will work in it.

it might be a problem with the sim card or orange might be experiencing slight problems in your area

Yep, needs to be unlocked with an unlocking box & cable, no free unlock I'm afraid.

The sim works in my phone just cant get it to work on the samsung......do you think I may need to get phone checked?

safest way would be by code from vodacode database for £10
