I am a real beginner at this, but I would like to unlock my v220, I have down loaded stuff .... but it says put phone in flash mode ....what is that? Also when you put type in the stuff (*+ ) is it star, then the plus sign and then hash or does it mean star AND hash

be carefully what you do, to put the phone in flash mode: press the hold in the * and # key and press the power button. screen will be black with bootloader/software version info on it.
