Are these DVDs fake?

please enlighten me as to how i am contravening anything?
I will simply be reporting this seller to the proper authorities that deal with dvd piracy.
If that is against eBay policy then bring it on.
So you are taking legal action?
Your inference was something else, which is what I questioned.
To quote myself....If you are suggesting doing something which contravenes policy
Simply reporting them won't get your money back (which is what you said, is it not?)I am if the seller wants to keep his account
The seller will not necessarily lose his account if you prove he sold a fake. Certainly as that proof is not via a dispute.0 -
I can't imagine Sony will continue to let an eBay power seller (once i've made them aware who he/she is) sell job lots of their dvd's which they make nothing from.Where the !!!! has the Shrug gone!
just doesn't cut it... :huh::think::huh: and these don't come close0 -

Have you spoken to seller, if they are DVDs then Sony will be distributor and not copyright holder.
Also the seller may have permission from the copyright holder to sell copies ( this does happen). I sometimes sell copies of a classic film that the master copy was destroyed by the distributor making the film will never be televised or produced on DVD, but i have permission to sell these ( ebay have copy of permission letter) as long as i place specific details in listings.0 -

I think you may be surprised.
Most large companies don't have the time (or inclination) to chase a single fake sale, which after all is what this is. And one 'dodgy sale' (you don't have proof do you?) is not something that is evidence of continued selling of fakes.
Just out of interest why did it go over the 45 days?0 -
these are current American TV series that this person does not have permission to sell.Where the !!!! has the Shrug gone!

Not a single sale. Different products both fake.

Single sale as in ONE person. Your brother. Not thousands, hundreds or even tens of. If you want to be pedantic, then do, but it won't help you with Sony or Ebay.
So, getting away from your intent on disagreeing with me, has your brother tried their cardholder? Was it a paypal balance payment? Do you want help or just to be argumentative.
I'm giving the facts, you seem intent on disagreeing. You either want help or not, but just because you don't agree with the replies, doesn't make you right.
