    Hi Kerry

I listed it on the laptop and it gave me the option of doing photos from the computer or a mobile device - I went for mobile and it sent me an email with a link which went straight to my photo gallery so I could select the photos. Then they showed up on the laptop too. Shockingly clever really :D

Pleased to report that I have now done two days at college seminars and...

Got the coach instead of the train, saving about £40 each time
Took lunch and drinks both days so only bought chocolate and a drink today
Did not go shopping anywhere en route
Did not order takeaway when I got home even though it's late

    :D:T

And am not completely worn out despite getting up before 5 and doing long days. I think I'm getting my groove back :j

:j great news Rosa. How does the travel time on the coach compare to the train?

did you ever get the Takeaway Secret book? You could do some recipes from that and freeze them as ready meals for when you get home.

you inspired me to get off my bum and list some fleabay stuff too - got a bid on one item already. :j

    Hi Kerri

Hurrah for your also Ebaying :D

The travel time on the coach is much worse as the traffic into the city messes it up. When I go in for work and they're paying I get the train, and that's means leaving at 7 to reliably get in for about 0930. I have to leave at 0545 when getting the coach, but I basically just go back to sleep again :rotfl:

I shall need to pop back here when I've caught up on YNAB as I haven't been keeping up to date when doing long days in town. I don't think the damage is too bad but have had to have an osteopath appointment today (£45) and I also bought the Sainsbugs quilted bedspread I've had my eye on for months as it was half price (£15 and it looks fab).

I am also thinking of finally replacing my bed as the one I've wanted for years is on sale... I think I can get it down to about £400 which obviously isn't to be sneezed at, but it is something I really really love and will obviously use for years. I've got a couple of days to think about it as the extra discount ends on Sunday.

Perhaps see if they will knock any more off on Sunday if you decide to go for it?

Hm, that's an idea. I found I can get cashback on Quidco if I go online, and thought I'd found another offer for newsletter sign-up but it doesn't seem to have turned up. It might be worth ringing them :)

If it's one of the well known stores, work out what you could get as cashback then take a wander to a store if you have one near you. Try the umming and ahhing tactic and see if one of the salesmen will knock any more off for you, or offer free delivery, free duvet etc - calculate if this is worth more than cashback. They are on commission so will usually have a little leeway to play with. Don't be afraid of walking away from an offer if it's not the best deal you can get, they're not going to chase you down the road if you leave the store....probably :D

:D I'll bear all that in mind

Though have decided to leave it for now - they will always have another sale and I was intending to buy new bed when I finally move to new flat and hopefully have a spare bedroom again that could have the old one.

Feeling very virtuous about it too :A:rotfl:
