Hmm...sitting here listening to next-door's cat crying to be let in. It's is rather cool here at the moment, so I can appreciate its sentiment. But I guess:
a/ It's fat.
b/ It's furry.
so it's not all bad.
:rotfl: Most of the internet must be wasted on you if you are immune to cats.
I mean - would not even Roomba-cat move you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLt5rBfNucc

Too much LSD in that household...why dress their cat up as a shark?
Land-lubber kitty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM5BCjNswd0 - and yes, I did find it funny rather than "Awwww....."
Though cats do seem to be capable of some human-sounding noises. Next door's cat did a fair impression of David Byrne in the closing bars of "Road to Nowhere" what it realised it was being ignored...
I seem to be watching "Everything wrong with..." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghPsLcuLHHU) and "Honest Trailers" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gugBiEkLwU) quite a bit. I just have that sort of humour...

New rule - if it's too worn to go to the charity shop, it shouldn't be seen in public and should most likely be binned.
Have had a spendy daybut on things that needed replacing (socks and pjs) and the PJs were only £22 (v cute and have been looking for some for ages, so bonus to find them and at 20% off in Dhams). Sadly the changing room mirrors proved that nothing beats Protect&Perfect eye cream so also dived into Boots for that and stocked up on 3 for 2. Annoyed to get home to an email pointing out that they will have points event on Thursday... but have opened one so too late anyway.
Also feeling slightly guilty as treated myself to a takeaway on the way home... but it was absolutely delicious, ridiculously healthy and the place is open late so now I know that when I can't face cooking I can go in there and get a meal for £6.50 instead of ringing for a takeaway at £18 a time. Hurrah

Oh and can I just have a moan about the cost of work based social stuff? It's going to be £30 for the 'team Christmas dinner' tomorrow and I kinda wish I'd found an urgent meeting to go to instead.
It'll probably be OK but if I'm paying out that much I'd rather be with friends of choice than friends through work.
End of moan

Apart from a good night's sleep.
And Preparation H - apparently...:eek::eek:RosaBernicia wrote: »Also feeling slightly guilty as treated myself to a takeaway on the way home... but it was absolutely delicious, ridiculously healthy and the place is open late so now I know that when I can't face cooking I can go in there and get a meal for £6.50 instead of ringing for a takeaway at £18 a time. If I had company who would appreciate slinky, I wouldn't need PJs to keep me warmOh? What was it? Don't say "World of Lettuce"... :rotfl:
One of the new Japanese places. Have found I like both Itsu and Wasabi.Smile sweetly, and think of it as an investment in goodwill.
I smiled, and I even stuck around for coffee. They're not such a bad bunch and I finally got more than 3 words out of my current manager.

Haha same here. There's too much fleecyness in my night attire....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I'd lay a bet that it would be more difficult to find someone who didn't appreciate slinky, than who did.RosaBernicia wrote: »One of the new Japanese places. Have found I like both Itsu and Wasabi.
Don't think I've tried many Japanese places apart from Wagamama - and that doesn't really count given its limited repertoire.RosaBernicia wrote: »I smiled, and I even stuck around for coffee. They're not such a bad bunch and I finally got more than 3 words out of my current manager.

My night attire tends to the hairy. On the bright side - no ironing. On the downside - hand wash only..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Well my summer stuff isn't sensible at all now I no longer have to worry about boy flatmates... but I may have to watch that the winter stuff doesn't go too far the other way.
Thanks for the Sainsbugs tip btw, I stopped off there tonight and found black bootleg bottoms for £14 :T that's all I wanted and they are a much better fit than the cheap ones in SD. (I really don't know why some things are cut as they are. Am beginning to think sportswear should be classified into 'Before', 'Working on it' and 'Showing off results'.)
