a face flannel with water on it works well too - spot of essential oil or lemon juice (if you aren't allergic to it) makes it even more refreshing! We often take a damp flannel out in a plastic bag for on the go freshen ups ...
Having said that, I'm sure you are not allergic to every wipe out there ...0 -

All of them? A lot are fragrance free / you can get some from health shops.
Try spot testing the Andrex moist toilet wipes - sounds strange but they have very little smell but do a good all round freshen up.
I have quite a few allergies (with new ones developing unexpectedly all the time) and the Andrex ones are OK for me.:hello:0 -
I used to work in kitchens and we were 'banned' from wearing strong smelling perfumes/body spays etc. Partly because it's not pleasant for customers if you reek of something, but also because it could potentially taint the food. However, there was no question of not smelling fresh and the expectation was that we'd wear an unscented deodorant. And it's not like we were sniffed at the door as we came in ...0

Since when has smearing a summer fruit over your armpits stopped you from smelling like a sumo wrestlers bum crack?
I bet it'll be a laugh a minute working for you.
I am NOT going to ask how the heck you know what a Sumo wrestlers bum crack smells like!!
I don't want to know, not listening...la,la,la,la,la:rotfl:0 -

The crystal rock aluminium molecules are too big to be absorbed by skin.
The Sure/supermarket deodorants with aluminium (all), the molecules are smaller and can be absorbed by skin. Also the number one ingredient is butane, a gas that is an irritant to the body. Im constantly having to use body spray at work - I'm going through a surgical menopause due to having had cancer and I have the most terrible hot flushes where I sweat profusely. Add to the fact I work in a hot environment wearing a nylon uniform and the prospect of not using deodorant or body spray means I would reek to high heaven. However I've never had a complaint yet and I'm trying to keep it that way...*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

When I moved house I went to a local pizza place to try a takeaway... the pizza had a kind of perfumed taste to it and so I took it back. When I got to the counter, I instantly recognised it as the assistant's aftershave - got my money back and never returned.:hello:0 -

OP how would you word your job advertisement so people know what not to wear?
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Hi Tiddlywinks ... I am allergic to even "natural stuff" i used a totally natural creme once from lush and ended up in hospital ...
I have to use prescription shampoo and hyper hyper allergenic emollient.. Sorry but id rather squirt a bit of perfume than risk anaphalyxis !!!
Anyway less about me ... Seems there are others on this thread who are having problems with using certain substances and if an employer employed a blanket ban then they mY be on a sticky wicket (excuse the pun) relating to the Equality Act ...Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...

Huh! Have you actually looked at those molecules - or know their molecular weights.... or how they behave in solution or as a colloid - pseudo-science claptrap to the point of witchcraft.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_chlorohydrate
