I just checked and for my area (it seems they offer one price for most of the UK) they work out cheaper than my local supplier. What was the service like?

We ordered coal from this company over a week ago and it hasn't been delivered yet. We had an email stating that the delivery would be today, I stayed in and still no delivery. I am getting worried that it is a con?! Any advice?

My coal man delivers Thursdays and takes the money on Thursday I can even order that morning and he will deliver

And if I don't have the money that week, no worries he will be happy to be paid next

I use a local coal merchant. £15 per cwt. the op is paying way too much.

In many areas the local independent coal merchants have gone out of business, or have been swallowed-up by the giants..

Sadly, this year it happened in my part of Kent.

It leads to some bizarre situations. For example, I can now buy two 25kg sacks of smokeless cheaper from a local garage than I can buy them from the merchant - even though I know the merchant actually supplies that garage, which is making a healthy margin on each bag.

If people have the choice they should use it. If they don't, they will pretty soon lose it.

Please keep me updated on this and let me know if they deliver. I've noticed they have no phone number, but do have a recently set up Facebook page.
