Son spent our money on Fifa 13 without us knowing

  • Where can you spend burnt notes? - or a small pile of ash? This was exactly my point.
  • I don't know how to trade Fifa points... but I'm going to take the game off him.

DS has been told that he has to pay the money back - it's his 12th birthday at the beginning of Feb and he was going to have money for a bit of a spending spree - most of that's gone. He was going to have a Reptile show as his birthday party (I was going to book on payday) - that's gone.

DH and I will be sitting him down for a proper talk tomorrow when I get back from shift (I work 24 hrs shift starting at 1pm today).

Lots of upset here, especially as the bank wouldn't give us an overdraft for the week but I've managed to get a Wonga (!!!) loan to tide us over - luckily I can pay it back easily when I get paid as I did quite a bit of overtime at Christmas.

Oh, I'd be happy to edit the thread to be more accurate about what happened. How do I do that?

    Cheers all.

Go into the game, go to the 'Ultimate Team' section and then find the buy/sell area. Put up all his gold cards and players rated over 80 for sale on buy it now for 1 coin. ORRR just wipe all his ultimate team game date ;) Yes, I'm pretty harsh.

Tell him you've reported him to the Police for stealing from you, scare him a bit ;)

Click 'Edit' on the original post and there's a box with the title in it. Edit it.

Too late, I was going to suggest that you don't change the title, we all like to see a thread where we can be outraged that the title completely overstates what the problem actually is :D.

Teach him a lesson. Go into his FIFA account and sell all of his shiney new premium pack cards for next to nothing on the trading system on there.

No, just ban him from playing it for a month until he's earnt enough to pay for the money he stole back!

Don't know many kids who get £70+ of pocket money each month.

I didn't say pocket money.....A generous £5 an hour for jobs ontop of whatever he may do normally would suffice
