    Hi all,
Up early and loaded wm & bm. Sorted out some duck breasts for dinner and hm veg soup for DH's lunch all from the freezer.
I've made piles of paperwork to sort through and dug out the tax returns files, I hoped to get our tax returns put on line this afternoon but I have to collect DGD2 from play school at 3pm then take her to swimming class at 4.45. best laid plans eh!
DH's van passed the MoT yesterday, the mechanic charged £124 for some welding that had to be done so I'll pop to the bank before picking up DGD3.
That's about it for me as I'm not feeling very chatty, sorry. :(
    REDRUBY, Congratulations to DD.
    ((((hugs)))) to all in need.

    I am so angry!:mad::mad::mad:
My Sky account cut off today, (I cancelled it because they couldn't find me a deal) I was told it would be a Freesat box then and nothing would change. I now find that I can't use the live pause, the recording facility or the playback for stuff I HAVE recorded:mad:
Phoned them up and apparently I have to pay £10 a month for that! So if I want them I still have to pay £120 a year, which I don't want to pay. Cancelling it saved me £37 a month, why would I want to pay out again? Thinking of changing to a Freeview box now, but I'd have to have an aerial put up, which may be better in the long run. GRRRRRRRR!
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

  • Good afternoon everyone :)

Mad day at work and am ready for a battle with Lloyds TSB. I saw one of those Money Manager adverts with the hamster on the way to work today. The slogan says something like "Know exactly where your money goes" and I wanted to climb up and spray paint "Yes on interest to Lloyds TSB bank!"

Rant over and back to work :o

Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super day :)

Just a quick post to welcome themiddletons to the thread - I have lupus, which has a lot of symptoms in common with fibro, so I can appreciate what you're up against.:o

Hilly I'd tell Sky to go and do one, just on principle, if that was me!

    Afternoon all,

Beth, sorry to hear of your SIL loss, what a shame esp being married such a short time (((hugs)))

Uolypool,I understand how you are feeling and am so sorry to hear about woofer (((hugs)))

Cait-I really hope that your dog gets better and is back on her feet soon.Ours hurt himself a few weeks ago, practically did the splits when he slipped and I feared the worst but he's back to his old self now.Positive thoughts coming her way.

    Congrats Miss Ruby !

I'm tired now-been minding G.Nephew while DN went to a funeral. He was very good though, wrapped him up well and had a little walk to the shop & called on the little park for a quick swing-only trouble was he didnt want to leave :rotfl: DGD is coming at teatime, and again tomorrow for her overnight stay with DS2,so I let DN drop me off at L!d1 when she picked him up then I dont need to go out tomorrow if it snows but will have everything in.I seem to need more stuff these days at weekend-DS1 isn't away all weekend like he used to be before the split with gf,and DS2s GF comes to stay on Fridays till Sunday night.Spose it evens out,he stays at hers several weekday nights :D

Chilli for me and DH,turkey strips for the others.Oh well, need to put all my veg away before they get home,so will leave you with kind thoughts and well wishes xx
