I would be livid if my husband did.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I know at least two of my OHs exgirlfriends - one lives just across the street across from me the other about half a mile away but still in same village.
I took the view that if things were meant to be between them then they would have married - they didnt, they broke up and he married ME!
I know he has a 'soft spot' for them - he cares about them!
It doesnt worry me and I am on 'friendly terms' with them. They are nice people and it doesnt bother me in the slightest that my OH had a relationship with them.
tbh - worrying about past relationships is, to me, taking jealousy a bit far.0 -
I agree with you OP. First sign of trouble has got you thinking about a way out
You're not ready to marry imo. This is probably the first of many situations that will test your relationship, and this is probably rather trivial by comparison to things that will happen Would it not make more sense to wait and see if marriage is what you want? Once the honeymoon period is over you may see things differently0 -
....."I was going through some paperwork today and came across a notepad which had a draft of a 'love letter'. It was addressed to one of his female friends telling her that he loved her and was completely infatuated etc.."
That's because men are NOT very good at chucking anything away and keeping things tidy. Just have a look at the other threat on this section called 'The things that annoy you about your OH'... You'll see what you're in for...

This reminds me of me and dh in the early days of moving in together and going through our things. I saw things i probabaly wished i hadn't whilst helping him sort his things out. Old love letters and cards, photos. He was quick enough to bin them and i did the same with any of mine. It's always a little hurtfull but those thought will go very quickly. We've been married now more than 10yrs and it's daft in comparison to what we have been through together and i'm not the least bit bothered about the past now.0
