  • Yodel aren't just "connected to" Home Delivery Network, they are Home Delivery Network, renamed in a futile attempt to mask their appallingly shoddy service and (allegedly) criminally-inclined drivers.
  • I was expecting a fireplace from a catalogue and waited all day.At 3PM I received a phone call from Yodel to say somehow the parcel was now damaged and they weren't sending it.It was OK when it arrived with them. They said I had to phone the catalogue and tell them-not them!!!I did this asap and the catalogue asked if I wanted to reorder.I did and so had 2 fireplaces on the account.I phoned 4 times over the NEXT 2 weeks before the catalogue had heard from Yodel and could refund the first item.Even more worrying was that Yodel tried over the fortnight to redeliver the first fireplace again. They said Id been out the first time.I informed them they hadnt delivered as it was damaged and they said this was wrong.I have no faith in them .I cant believe that Kay and Co deal with them.

I had this problem with Yodel too. A parcel containing a small Hoover didn't arrive but when I tracked it on their website it said delivery had been effected and the signature "sausage" given. I made an immediate complaint which sparked an investigation the outcome of which (they said) resulted in someone being sacked.

I wouldn't ever use them voluntarily again although I have had other deliveries from them since as some suppliers I use employ them.
  • Quite a few times I have used yodel and not had a single problem items we have ordered items and they have arrived the next mornin in brilliant condotion and the driver was friendly and polite. All round quite pl leased so far even though I have seen bad reveiws and it has me worried. I ordered a samsung galaxy s 3 on friday and expecting delivery tomorrow will let you all know how I get on .

Unfair to say that the driver stole it wouldn't you say?
Unprofessional, certainly, shoddy, without a doubt but theft is hardly proven.

FWIW I hate Yodel and actively look for sellers that don't use them, that an fed-ex, they suck balls too, but have got better in recent years

If this item had just gone 'missing' then I would say it was unfair...BUT THE SIGNATURE!! Means he stole it.

Ok so here I am at my computer after having contacted Amazon that my parcel 'recorded as delivered' has indeed NOT been delivered.
The item itself is a £77 motherboard and I needed it yesterday (Prime delivery)..
YODEL!! Apparently is was delivered AND SIGNED for, as I was in ALL DAY.. and was, at that time the only occupant, I know It's probably on the drivers ebay account at this very moment.
I have also contacted Yodel, they say it's been signed for by someone using my name.
I requested a copy of the signature so I can inform the police of the theft but apparently I need to get this from Amazon....who say there is NO SIGNATURE??.
    Yodel DON'T TRUST THEM!
So I have re-ordered...I have asked this item to be delivered to a 'Amazon collect plus' nearby and I pray it doesn't go missing.

I hope the driver and his/her sidekick turn up at my door... I really do!

I recently had £100 of items marked as delivered, despite being in hospital at the time, I had to contact Shop Direct (Very), they asked me to send in a copy of my signature which I did, I then had to confirm the signature that they had signed wasn't mine (clearly wasn't), so I did... Then I waited, and waited and waited. Eventually, after 3 weeks, £10 of phone calls back and forth and numerous snotty e-mails (from me AND Very), they refunded me for the items!! They asked if I wanted to reorder, I was like I don't blinking think so!!

  • I'm having similar issues with yodel, item allegedly signed for but I was out at the time and it's not even close to my signature. No calling card left and I've checked with neighbours who don't have anything for me. The problem is, it's a free item for a company I do trials for so I'm now owed any money back or even another item to be honest, but I am raging about the fact that yodel can and do get away with this. The company who sent me the item have been very good, but they're not getting anything from yodel other than, the item has been delivered and signed for. I really think this company needs to be investigated due to the sheer number of similar issues I've been reading about.

I'm having my own problems with Very/Yodel

Upon numerous emails and letters I would be getting a PS4 Delivered on the 29th to my home address, I received no such tracking info or even a dispatch email on the 29th Nov, Il come back to this in a minute.

No one was in or present at either address at all.

I had two different items due for delivery on the 29th to two different addresses, I received dispatch and tracking info for one of the items which I assumed was for the ps4 as it had been delivered?

My mum texts me asking of I'm still coming over to pick up a parcel as nothing turned up, which struck me as odd as I had an email saying something had been delivered?

I call yodel and give them the tracking ID which turns out to be one of the items a game that got delivered to my partners house, The driver signed it off as my partners surname even though it's addressed to me, and my partner was with me at time of delivery having lunch with her sister, Which would be impossible for her to sign for it!!!
So basically the game shows as being delivered as being signed for by my partner and no signs of the game anywhere at all, it was small enough the fit through the letter box but no it wasn't to be found anywhere,

Now back to the ps4 being delivered

Since I had no tracking info or even a dispatch email I queried with yodel if a second delivery was being made to my home address and they said yes it had been delivered and signed for by Conner????

Who Conner is I do not know, Basically no ps4 was delivered and some random or imaginary person signed for it,

I checked with all my neighbours no package was left with them and also none of their names are Conner no card was left at either address.

A Game is missing and a ps4 is missing in yodel's purgatory!!!!

Yodel say they will investigate and speak with the drivers, I am still yet to get a phone all back, I have spoke with very they are dealing with it as a fraud matter.

Yodel are a totally incompetent company who should cease trading as a company.

I have better faith in DPD THAN YODEL.

Ok I thought it would be unfair if I didn't update this post...My parcel DID in fact turn up..NEXT DAY..a young woman turned up and I honestly thought it might have been delivered to her address accidently..as she was driving a standard hatchback..But no SHE WAS in fact making the delivery...the one that was supposed to have been delivered the day B4 AND I supposedly signed for it !?!

    YODEL ARE CRAP....
