Sanoffo how much has your Vanguard dropped by now. It's been a bit of a free falling market this week so far.

look on it as a sale :) my drip feed of £300 goes tomorrow to the VLS, a chance to buy in a bit cheaper than earlier in the year and rebound as the years go by :)

My Vanguard's dropped 3.3% since I started it last month, but another contribution goes in tomorrow - as TYC says, more bang for my buck :)

Yes you will be buying in more at a lower price :) it is nice to get a sale and not always be buying at a rising price :) in the long term more bang for your buck indeed! :T

I drip feed every month regardless and not letting any market noise change that, if it happens to be on a month or week of a drop then it is buying more than when it was a rising week or month that was bought in.

Long term and filter the noise out is the idea :)

I have not checked nor do I intend to. I don't think it would look pretty. I'm in this for a long time, not a good time.

My gf comment was tongue in cheek by the way - being more conservative would rule out her mockery of my 'investment' than anything else.
