My advice is to see a solicitor. Even if you just explain the situation as you have here and ask that a letter is drafted asking for the return of your possessions and pets. I dont know why your wife is behaving in this manner, clearly we dont have the full story. However keeping hold of your things and refusing to discuss this with you is uneccesary. A letter from a solicitor may make your ex realise that you wont be treated like this and that she is being out of order.
