Yes, I'm another lurker (rather a late one - just found this post tonight). WELL DONE!

I have a suggestion........if there are more than 20 people working in your office, you could just stir things up a bit so that your employers have to recognise a Union....:D

    Not Guilty

I've just returned from the quick 15 minutes meeting were head of HR confirmed that they had called all the customers back that had 'allegedly' been cut off and they had confirmed they had NOT been cut off - which is what I said about 23 days ago. I am to return to work on Monday. He fell short of apologising (which in all honesty I didn't expect) but he did say that his HR dept. had 'learned' from this case and that matters would be approached differently in future. I must say I am just so relieved it is all over. I really do appreciate the support, experience and advice given on here. Off to open a bottle of wine.
    Regards IDT

    Well done. :T
    Bunch of plonkers.
Get them to go on a retraining course to learn & understand the systems they use & not jump to conclusions. :rotfl:

Thanks again to everyone on here for their support. Going in on Monday felt very weird. A lot of colleagues wanted to know what had gone on and I put them straight. I also heard that my team were close on walking out 'unofficially' because they all felt I was innocent. It took some persuading from a union rep. to talk sense to them. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way (in fact I was quite flattered) but you just can't get way with doing that type of thing these days.

I'm glad this week is now out the way and hope I can now put it behind me. I'm still looking at different jobs now though - but in my timescale and not theirs!!! :D

I think whilst I'm on here I'll stick around - pity I can't change my username!!

    Regards

    Nice one totally!!!!!

    Well done to you girl.

I am in the same kinda situ, although I have been suspended due to victimisation and now 'sacked' because of what my boss has done- which I brought up in my grievance to begin with!!!

I loved my work and going back after a suspension I would have felt weird, so I can fully understand how you are feeling.

It's sooo good that your collegues were behind you all the way.

Do you think that you will stay there now after all this???
