Okay just a bit of an update. I have received a call this morning asking me to go into a second investigation meeting. It is now exactly 3 weeks since I was suspended.
They are keen to point out it is only an investigation meeting. The meeting will be tomorrow afternoon. I will keep you informed as to the outcome.
Thanks again for all the support.
I would have thought they would have confirmed with actual callers that you had terminated calls early.
Relying on the call logs is nonsense.
So many people do not have a clue about software & technology & make completely wrong conclusions.

good luck IDT and let us know what happens0

yes! good luck tomorrow! they do not give you a lot of notice do they?
remember, if at any time during the meeting you feel the need to adjourn or ask for a break then you are entitled to it.
hopefully the meeting will be to tell you there is no evidence.
will be looking in you later tomorrow;)0 -
Good luck this pm IDT. Will be thinking of you

Not Guilty
I've just returned from the quick 15 minutes meeting were head of HR confirmed that they had called all the customers back that had 'allegedly' been cut off and they had confirmed they had NOT been cut off - which is what I said about 23 days ago. I am to return to work on Monday. He fell short of apologising (which in all honesty I didn't expect) but he did say that his HR dept. had 'learned' from this case and that matters would be approached differently in future. I must say I am just so relieved it is all over. I really do appreciate the support, experience and advice given on here. Off to open a bottle of wine.
Regards IDT

If you get pulled up for this sort of thing in future, raise a grievance, claiming victimisation0

Thanks for letting us know how you got on; I am really pleased for you and hope you can move on when you get back to work.
But I am still shocked at their actions - contacting customers should have been their first point of contact. I hope their apologies were sincere and they do something to let your team know their mistake and how sorry they are.

I am so pleased for you, I hope they will treat you with greater sensitivity in future.0
