evening - sitting on the horns of a dilemma for most of the afternoon
high blood sugar vs less to eat and spill ketones vs swollen legs and high blood pressure vs gravity and premature labour
So I have been flying in 5 minute stints Head to Hips - if my hands can do it in the region Head to Hips AND its not to taxing then I have done it....just in a bid to get the blood sugar down a bit
Fortunately making a :coffee: tea falls between Head to Hips :j
Flying today consists of:
S&S kitchen counters, bleach and polish of sink, descale of kettle, decrumb and clean the toaster
unloaded and reloaded top rack of DW - DS unloaded and passed up clean stuff from Bottom rack into Head to Hips range
glass jars and unwanted clothes taking to recycling point when collecting DS - drove on further to meet EX MIL 3/4 of the way as buses were running behind schedule by over an hour (due to the Tiniest of Snow Flurries ) and connections would have been missed
Collected meds to last me to Sunday night from pharmacy
Get everybody in your house to help you for at least 5 minutes each - DS and DD3 de-gibbled LR and Hallway floor, DD3 collected 3 dirty washing baskets to utility ready for sorting.
LR, Hallway and Kitchen hoovered - Head to Hips only - no faffing around with attachments for edges today :eek::eek: and if some stray gibble got sucked up because the young Skints didn;t pick it up - then I refuse to loose sleep over it
More stripey laundry bags purchased ready for hospital so fresh towels can be sent back and forth
Chicken stuffed with citrus fruits -ready to go in oven on timer
Tray of Jackets criss crossed and one with DS's initial carved into it - ready to go into oven on timer
Oven timer primed - EX MIL fed oven with Chicken and Pots
and so far that is it........DD2 will have to do her bit at some point, but is currently rolling around like a dead fish.
I may do something before bedtime in Room of Doom that is the study if I can make it a Head to Hips job....we shall see;)
Time for a brew, a lurk and catch up with FredThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

Going to sort out the financial bits this evening. I need to read the meters and submit the readings. Going to get cold doing that brrr. Cleaned the fire out and re-laid it. Contemplating lighting it or having the heating on. Ought to light the log burner, much cheaper than heating as we burn our own logs twigs etc...it's just it is lovely and clean now:(

Crikey, you make me feel even lazier than I am already with all that activity in your condition! Take it easy or all our blood pressure will get high and we'll join you in hospital.
No flying for me today apart from getting up early to check on web site and see whether snow had closed college - it hadn't. Roads were fine as they were so wet. Managed to persuade last student to leave early as he had a bus to catch and it was snowing quite heavily by 3.30.
I'm hoping to type a load of freelance work up before going to the gym later, so that will probably do me for today I'm afraid.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
No snow here as of yet. I have my fingers crossed it passes us by asI have training this week and the snow will bring public transport to a stand still.
Feeling very tired today and have beeb twitching none stop, which has given the people I'm sat next to a bit of a fright
Then come home to find DS is busy trying to download alsorts of online gaming on to the laptop I've been give because he mucked my other one up as he was removing programmes or parts of programmes so he had more room for games (I've no idea what I'm talking about but I know my laptop stop working properly:o:()
Not started dinner yet as waiting for OH but I have done some flying since I got in, loaded DW with breakfast stuff and S&S the bathroom, as well as started on the list
