Couple of last thoughts before oven beeps.
Bossymoo, please stay safe with those two little moos, and get your electrics checked when you can. You can't be too careful. You do sound nice and cosy there!
Lamewolf; I've just googled 'birsay biscuits' and they look yummy! I've not made biscuits for a while, so might try some of these! Have you done them before or are they new to you?
 Good wishes, R x0

Why not take your camera in and video/photograph the 'sewage'? My camera has an option where I can record video, as does my phone. A film done by you while walking through the shop, and filming the conditions would be useful evidence.
Also clothes shouldn't be being sorted in a food prep area.
Phone call to EH complaining about the stench/sewage should do it.
It's really, really difficult when 'wrong' things are being done in a workplace to get them sorted, sometimes. If managers/bosses want to be underhand, even in this day and age, they can often get away with dodgy practises. Evening all
Bonnie - good luck, you have had good advice
Bossy my DS2 was very shy when little but is such a kind spirit and has always been so popular further through school. Your DS will find his way, give him time and a hug x
Dancemum I think I remember your son has autism (sorry if I am wrong). Is there a support group for you both. Are you in Scotland?
H/M chicken pie for dinner, DS2 loved it, DS3 hated it. Gingerbread men and nut loaf also made.
School cancelled tomorrow, pleased to say the least. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Butter it. The forecast, which said rain at 9.00am tomorrow morning, now says snow a 3.00 am. That means the three loads of washing that are freeze-drying on the washing line will have to come in overnight after all.
Bonnie I hate to say this, but as you are suffering from 'flu' and have been dealing with !!!!, please could you get yourself a 'phone consultation with your GP (they won't want you in the surgery). There are, unfortunately, some nasty bugs that give 'flu like symptoms that can cause problems longer term if not diagnosed and treated.
Regarding Environmental Health, when you get a moment, phone them and ask to talk to someone about a problem. That way you can sound them out about how to protect vulnerable people without dropping yourself in the brown stuff.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do; do what is right for you, especially as you have the job centre's support.Better is good enough.0

I think she's a bit south of me, actually Dusty.
as for the second comment I would be VERY PLEASED too, if I could say that;)
Anyway, my new snow shovel has been tried out and the snow shoots off it like *something* off a shovel :rotfl: So £12 well spent. It's not one of those snowplough things, but a proper shovel-shaped shovel, though plastic. Light, but heavy duty.
Schools don't take these decisions lightly. I was *almost* stuck in the village where I work, once. I was rescued by a knight in a tatty old land rover. But it got me home. Didn't get my car back for a few days though. Many of our pupils drive a fair distance in; too far to walk home. I dread being stuck in the building overnight; too few toilets BUT no food stocks - our dinners are brought in, no blankets, if the power failed too we would be in trouble.Honey_Bear wrote: »Regarding Environmental Health, when you get a moment, phone them and ask to talk to someone about a problem. Valli I will look into Scouts etc will have to go further afield as had trouble with local one with DS1, I ended up being threatened by another parent.
Dusty I'm south of Valli. He does have autism. We have tried a few support groups and I was a volunteer for one. His new school is supportive and runs courses for parents. My best friend has twins with additional needs and lots of friends have children with autism, we have tried support group youth clubs but he was hurt by other children.

I don't own a camera or functioning camera-phone due to lack of money, due to lack of employment etc etc... But do you know what?? If I've been in the sh*t already then there's not much worse I can be thrown in and I'll blow that whistle long and hard. Thanks for the inspiration xxBonnie~~ as the others have said EHO and NOW! chances are the people you work for lease the building, so some of what you have said will be the landlords responsibility............

I may well do so in the morning when I've done the major resigning/whistle-blowing stuff. Thank you xxHoney_Bear wrote: »

Thank you so much for your advice.
