    Healing vibes for Dog Jazee.

Non-slapping vibes for Ex-Mil for Skint Breeder. There is something very, very wrong with her - and I never have a pop at other women (feminist sisterhood and all that). Not feeding a pregnant diabetic having cooked the food you paid for and presumably ate some of it herself? Where does she get off?

Honey Bear, thanks for your kind thoughts. Unfortunately Sick dog is not good. She really needs an operation to fix her leg properly but she is so ill with other things that she probably wouldn't survive it. I will see how she gets on at the vet again tomorrow though one thing is for sure, although shes always been a tough little fighter, I will not let her suffer.

I've now wrapped the fleabay parcel, walked the other two dogs again, house is hoovered/swept/mopped (and now covered in paw prints again) and I'm about to groom all three of them.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday afternoon.

Hmmm. Odd. So I tripped the switch upstairs this morning, and just now I was turning over the chicken in the casserole dish, and accidentally clunked the cooker edge with the ceramic handle of the dish. Cue small flash of blue light and all the sockets went off!

So have fought my way into the boiler cupboard again, hoping it was reversible! Just as well I followed the winter prep thread, and I know where the torches are...

Anyway. We are back in business. It won't be half-cooked chicken stew for dinner and the kiddies can watch the rest of peppa pig.

Any more electrical mishaps today? Hope not. It's snowing again here...

I'd get that checked out asap if I were you bossy..... just to be on the safe side...

(((Jazee))) and (((Jazee's Dog))) Dog, here, will be 16 sometime over the next five days and I have thought several times that she was gasping her last. I cannot bear the thought of this sweet-natured old girl suffering a moment's pain or distress and she, too, has multiple health problems. Surgery is not an option here, but she's a game old bird and potters on and mostly very happy (drugged up to the eyeballs). I honestly do know what you're going through, so trust your judgement.

Oooh I like this. The lodger that left last night has mentioned me by name in his blog and I quote, 'by my lovely landlady [Honey Bear] (Thanks for an amazing time!).' Useful, as the client group is highly specialised and networking is very important. I knew he'd already recommended me to one person, but sadly I couldn't take them as we were fully booked for that period, but it all helps.

WM x 3 so far, two rooms to change and a shower room to clean. OH says he'll help when he gets back from watching the footie in the pub. It's always a bit risky leaving it until afterwards because if his team lose, he doesn't want to do anything.
    Better is good enough.
  • Skint bundles & bundles of good luck for tomorrow :) I SO wish I were a little closer that i could help out :(
AND there is NOTHING wrong with coming from Essex! We are not all TOWIE - we are strong, resourceful women as you are obviously proof of :p

2nd load in WM, 1st load dry & folded. Chicken in the oven. DH is going to prepare the veg.

DS is about to head out into the garden to build a snow dog :) He has been dying to do this ALL WEEK, but until today, we have had no snow! We all went out for an nearly an hour and a half with the dog and the sledge earlier.

Back to the accounts then, I guess :o

Best of luck for tomorrow, skinty.

Have nursery bags just about ready, just a spare sweater to go in each. Laundry just about sorted. All caught up except the clothes we are wearing, and a stray pair of DD pjs. Just waiting on the last lot to dry. Had to play laundry Tetris through.

DS can put his train track away soon, and they can have chicken and sweetcorn noodles for tea. Not sure what ill have although there's loads of chicken left from lunch.

Going now as DS is trying to lick the iPad

Popping by.. so thought I'd pop in to let you all know I am not dead, disappeared or otherwise abducted by aliens.. I have been dealing with a torrent of snot and various other bodily secretions.. I swear babies produce twice their body weight in a day and excrete it through a variety of orifices. Anyway, we have 2 new teeth, a flare up of eczema and a new addiction to Shaun the Sheep.... soooo much better than Peppa (the rude, obnoxious, bullying, spiteful) Pig.

We are coming to the end of the birthday run which started over 2 months ago and will end with 'baby' Jacob being 4 on the 3rd!! Spamuel and the Babian are 7 months now and getting ineractive and DD1 is still moaning haha!!!

Best go feed the marauding horde before they eat the neighbours.. love hugs and such slop to everyone! xxx

Well I have made another batch of marmalade. This one is jelly (ie no peel) and I am brave enough to do this to my own recipe (due to complaints from mum as they aren't keen on peel in their marmalade). Had the genius idea of freezing the rotting orange; bags I selected were dated use by today, these were bought Friday and one was going mouldy) so I am hoping that, with a refund, the marmalade will come in even cheaper. Have saved the packaging and the receipt;)

I lied the other day - I have made jam in my 'new' kitchen - but summer was so poor that I hadn't made any since I did a batch of Rhubarb and Ginger jam in the spring!

We've had Sunday Dinner. Yorkshires were brilliant (have finally cracked it - there were complaints; the Vallikids are used to undercooked batter :rotfl: and they easily popped out of the tin. So, with DD's muffin-and-brownie marathon yesterday the kitchen has been VERY well used this weekend.

grr.gifat Piggers (I was going to wave - but I saw this< and thought of you;))
