Be warned that the S3 Mini is pretty low spec for how much it costs. Samsung are relying on the power of the Galaxy brand to dupe you into parting with your money. The Galaxy S2 is a slightly higher spec phone even though it is nearly 2 years old now. You should be able to find this for less.
  • The Mini S3 is coming in at £420 for 24 months all in.

    The S2 is £480.

    The S3 Regular is £511.99.

The only thing is this is with Talk Mobile and I'm with o2, can my number be transferred across?

Normally you can - ask for a 'PAC' from o2 which you then give to your new provider. PACs are normally only valid for 30 days, but just requesting one, but not using it, won't cancel your current contract with o2

For Talkmobile you have to have your PAC ready at the time of purchasing.
And check Vodafone signal in your area before switching networks.
  • You can get better deals..

    e.g. http://!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/samsung-galaxy-s3-mini-blue.html

Note: Doesn't like mobiles co uk links!

£100 cashback (plus quidco if you use it), £26 a month on the 'on and on' O2 deal

I just got a Samsung S3 on the £26 a month deal.. The mini looks underpowered for the price - i think a HTC would be a better option

And o2, because they have apparently started their mast-sharing agreement already (certainly if the massive improvement in my talkmobile mobile internet speed is anything to go by!).

Edit: Just noticed the OP is already on o2!

But they want £250 to buy the phone. Is this still a good deal?

Huh? No they dont. check the O2 website - 24 month contract for all described above and £49.99 up front. I think that is a very good deal.
