Because until now, no one was sure of the source of my pains (myself inclusive). But there is a small difference between what you were asking me yesterday : "if I had make the link" and what i have been advised today: "I have to find a SPECIALIST that will make the list".

If you reread, I stated that a doctor needed to establish a causal link between the injury and your employment. Have you now found someone that can do this, and how do you/ they explain that you are still having this problem, many years after your employment has ended?

I have required an appointment in November and the earliest date will be in March.

I think i may give up this option because more i talk about it and more i have headaches and I am presently not able to go to court.

In addition, i finally agree with you due to the complexity of my sickness (lack of true expert) i will have difficulties to build the link (but myself I am sure that started with the bad times given by previous employer).

    Thanks all for your help,

What we have ALL been saying is that even if it did start then, if it was caused by the employer why hasn't it subsided 6 years after leaving?

I'm sure we would also all suggest seeking specialist help to find out what it is, just that it will be almost impossible to link to your employer after all these years.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

so imagine when they are doing medical investigation for chronic severe migraine accompanied with other pain such as joint and back pains...

I have however notified by email this week my employer regarding my sickness but he didn't want to give me the appointed internal doctor (when i was working for them) new details....

Ps : In my case it seems that it is mainly psychological injury and also I may need a trauma specialist or a psychotherapist (but this area will be maybe too much subjective in goal to build a link).

I'm sure in your head the two points that you point at with a pointy arrow make sense; and you can point to all the appointments you like.

But it still does not make the link between what the employer did then, and what you are experiencing still.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

The problem is that presently i feel that I really need to try to make a specialist since it will in all cases to avoid people think i am lying (and maybe start a true recovery....).

Your last post is pushing to call psychotherapists.

    - what the employer did then :
Overloadme for more than 6 months with other employee jobs (was working from 7am to 11pm). Harassment : one of the reason of the harassment is that they did not want me to succeed at one internal examination i was preparing. After a first two weeks sickness I have sent a grievance letter (in which I was complaining for my health) and a month letter I have been made redundant.

    - what you are experiencing still.
That was severe burning eyes (at that times I thought that was due to the several hours on computer and also after I have been made redundant I have tried to not use any computer during three months but the pain remained and worsened) , back pain and difficulties to articulate (due to the headache that is over my head with face inclusive). The back pain usually arise daily at the main time than the headache (+severe burning eyes). I equally have joint pain (mainly wrist).

ps : my main investigation was previously done in France (since in London at my borough's hospital, they told me after JUST eyesight examinations that they did not know what is my problem and that it may be a psychological problem) while I was sick and was focused on my recovery (without success).

I have worked 7am to 11pm and my OH does this regularly.

I have cluster headaches that started when I was working.

They have nothing to do with work, but as I have worked for the last 20 years then anything that happened during the last 20 years was at a time when I working.

They key thing here is they didn't go away when you stopped work.
Many people up and down the country work more hours etc and don't have the issue.

I take it you had poor chairs for your workstation and had asked repeatedly for new chairs, anti glare screens, ergonomic keyboards or such like. Clearly if they caused you headaches via your whole employment then you will have company sicknotes saying headaches and reports from OH to see if they caused the headaches.

MoonDragon, have you considered getting some therapy, in particular CBT? It seems that you need help to move on from this poor experience, you are still allowing it to rule your life.

    Really?

How do you know that they have nothing to do with work?
Did your employer equally refused you to take one or two days off (like me) when I had an emergency (private life) because they thought that was for revising?
Were you equally working on a trading floor?
They key thing here is they didn't go away when you stopped work.

This is a funny logic: if you are injured you are injured....

Oh yes, of course....and they have made me redundant before the second medical internal assessment's date....

Ps : don't make me waste my time.

I started one two years ago during my medical investigations : they advised me to do a lot of sport (footing, fitness) but start resolving my present loss of social status due to my sickness + several therapist session.
