What can cause an illness of chronic severe headache (which increase when i am harassed or make me remember my previous workplace)?
What do you think that can arrive to an employee that one make work from 7am to 11pm for months and harassed [they had in fact merged three roles in mine (i was using two computers for this purpose)]?
Ps : In my grievance letter I indicated the backpain (but in fact it is an extension of pain in my head to neck and back) but at the grievance hearing the employer said that a backpain can be muscular and due to my own bed, etc...
Let's me recall that the internal medical investigation was not finished when they had made me redundant.A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -
Think you will have a real problem proving the link (the symptoms did not go away when you left). But may be worth speaking to a no, no fee lawyer to see if they will risk their time and money.0

First time I have been sick (2007) I saw a GP who gave me a sicknote for two weeks, then I have made some investigation in a London hospital where they thought that was only eyes problem (dry eyes): certainly there is an historical in my NHS file.
In addition, i was not able to work at all (even partially) for the next two years (2007 - 2009), in fact i was searching a job with an employer that will accept my disability (chronic severe headache).A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -

I have no idea. But if you want to do anything you will need to show that the employer caused this. If you can only do that by asking me questions how are you going to show a tribunal or a lawyer that the employer caused this?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

I think the best I can do yet is to contact tomorrow a specialist for personal injury.
Ps : I cannot show you the dozen of medical document i have since 2007 and medicine taken for this illness.A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -

You can have all the documents and medicines you want - what I'm asking is have you any proof that the employer caused the headaches? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
MoonDragon, I'm not sure you understand the issue Sambucus Nigra and ILW have (quite validly) raised. In order to make a personal injury claim, you need to show a causal link between your injury and your employment. From what you have said, no doctor has made this link, indeed no doctor has found any cause.
Some illnesses do not have a cause, they simply happen. For instance, someone can lead a very healthy lifestyle and then develop lung cancer - no history of smoking, being in smoking environments etc. From what you have said, it appears that your condition is the same - one of those unfortunate things that life throws at us. I cannot see anyone entertaining your claim without medical evidence to support a link between the illness and the employment.0 -

I understand, this is the reason I will contact a specialist tomorrow that could demonstrate the link better than me. By your approach, every psychological injury will just "not have a cause".
As previously said, this start exactly the period when I was intensively harassed...and in goal to not pay any compensation for the injury they have made me redundant before the end of the internal medical investigation.
