A number of tests have put Tom Tom app in front of Copilot ( but that was before TT for Android ).
I don't actually use the sat Nav apps Google and CoPilot but do check in with Waze just for traffic reports at times and likewise the motorway cameras .Thats really more for an idea of bad weather as i can see live conditions .

MSE article requests feedback on Navfree; here is mine.
Attempted to download and install on an HTC Desire Z running Android 2.3.3. Result was curious. Phone reported that it successfully downloaded the app but failed to install it. Second attempt failed as it claimed to be already loaded. Attempts to remove the app also fail because the app cannot be found!
Thoughts?
Update 22/3/13
Quite by chance, discovered that although Google Market/Play Store categorises this app as "Navfree", it appears on my phone as "World"! Have now downloaded maps for most of Western Europe and will try it.
Does anyone know whether there is a downloadable user manual available?0 -
Just to update, Waze have recently added a "fuel" option to their app, so not only can you get traffic info for free on this free app, you can now find the cheapest petrol on route or near where you live. It just gets better and better. Would really recommend people giving it a try.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

I use Waze and enjoy the extras it provides on top of standard GPS maps and traffic updates.
We need a Waze users thread0 -
In my experience the best navigator for android is Bring Me There...
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nifritz.bringmetherelite
It is almost unknown but it makes a great job above all in difficult situations (the ones you need help, isn't it? )...in mountain for example i can't be without it...and it's completely offline (in the full version).
I hope this can help you...
