. Before we were married, there was a time I hadn't seen him (LDR) for about 6 weeks, and when I did see him again I didn't recognise him because he'd grown a full beard and let his hair grow :rotfl: !
When we first met my OH was clean-shaven in summer and grew a beard in winter. I told him I thought he suited the beard better and he has never shaved it off since!Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

My DH never listens to me so I have to constantly have the same conversations about upcoming events. HOWEVER, every year, he manages to buy mea CD for Christmas (from the kids) without me knowing and one which I love.
This year, it was Bill Withers who popped up during a late night conversation whilst we were on holiday in August. I couldn't even remember the name of the artist!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
The fact he does a three hundred mile round trip sometimes twice a week just to see me, and he's been doing this for over two years and never missed a week, i have never heard him complain once about it :T:T he's my star

When I came home after two lots of major surgery, he would bring me my meals on the sofa on a tray.
He washed my hair for me when I couldnt shower because of my dressing;
He ferries me everywhere and doesnt complain about getting out of bed at 5.30 to drive me to Nottingham at 6am to catch my rugby supporters coach;
He brings me cups of tea and sends me daft texts.
Mind you he does drive me bonkers most of the time :rotfl:*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
I love the way I'll catch him smiling when I'm having an AYW (angry young woman) rant about something inconsequential - not because he's patronising me, but because he's listening

I also love the way that he looks after me when I'm poorly, despite being the worst person around illness and sick people I've ever seen! :rotfl:0 -
He will catch big spiders for me and put them out - whilst I shriek and run away!
He's a really good cook
He's good at hoovering/tidying/packing things away
He made me some book shelves and a hanging rack for my pots and pans
He buys me really thoughtful presents - puts in so much effort to get things he knows I will like. He spent months once searching for a copy of a rare old black and white film he knew I loved (and found it eventually).
He's always let me be myself and not tried to change me.
I like his quirky dress sense/style, and that he doesn't dress like your typical 48 yr old husband/father. Last thing I bought him was some dolly mixture and licorice allsort bracelets made from Fimo.
I dare not go near the thread asking what irritates you about your partner - it'd be a much longer list, and I've got things to do today! :rotfl:Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

Mr Diva is a brilliant spider catcher! No matter how big or small, he always gets them for me

He does most of the housework and always has done
He has this little-boy smile that when I'm in a bad mood or upset he can always cheer me up (unless he caused the mood)
He's a beautiful person inside and out
Man I love my man

The way he always notices when I walk in a room (no matter how many other people are in it).
The way he always rings me when I'm away for work to say goodnight, and let me speak to the cat before I go to sleep. (yes, I'm a crazy cat lady!)
The way he randomly surprises me with my favourite chocolate/sweet treats, usually just when I need them the most, but didn't know it.
He's a fab cook, and almost always makes my favourite dinners over his. He also cooks for my fussy family when they come to visit (he does all the cooking)
The way he's got super protective now I'm pregnant, and I'm not allowed to do anything that might be considered exerting myself (this should also be on my makes me irate list - I'm pregnant, not an invalid!)
He's got fab taste in shoes and clothes for me. He always knows exactly what will suit me, even when I'm not sure.
There's lots more, that I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate me sharing publicly, but needless to say, I love him lots, and he treats me like a princess.Married my wonderful husband 31st July 2011 :j

I love the way he talks about me to other people. To myself Im an accident prone, overworked stress ball with anxiety issues, a temper and a few extra pounds, by his account I'm a motorcycle riding b**a**, gourmet chef, humanitarian and amazing, surprise planning girlfriend

I also love how sweet he is with our dogs and will allow them to sleep with us in the bed when they are scared during a thunderstorm.
I love how he tears up when I do something nice for him, even if its just a cooked breakfast.
unfortunately cant cook, keep in touch while I'm away or buy thoughtful pressies to save his life, but hey ho.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

I love that he always hugs me when he sees me, even if we've both been in the house and have just happened to walk into the same room.
His sleeping patterns go dolally sometimes and he knows I don't like it when he doesn't come to bed with me for several nights in a row so he'll get into bed and snuggle me until I fall asleep then get back up.
He fixes technological things for me.
He doesn't mind me singing along to the radio.
He's learning another language just because I want our future children to be bilingual (I am).
When we go somewhere, he almost always drives. OK, that's because he likes it but I like not having to!
He tells me I'm beautiful all the time.
When I'm stressed, he lets me tickle him - he's extremely ticklish and it's hilarious and I know he's putting up with the discomfort in order to make me laugh.
He makes me laugh every day.
Not so romantic a reason but he's really useful! He's building storage for our kitchen right now and then he's going to put shelves all round our new house.
When I became a teacher, he agreed to do all the shopping and cooking during term.
He knows a lot about history, which I'm interested in so when I took him to Venice for his birthday, he told me all about the buildings I was seeing and we didn't need to go to most of the museums as a result.0
