For you newbies this is a bit about my ex and why he got cat food butties :rotfl:i posted this last year and thought i would repost. xxxxx is name of user i have deleted.

xxxxx he will never own up to having a drink problem. He won't be able to see it drinking will come naturally. Yes everything will be yours or DS problem or even the dogs animals etc it was the same in my house with ex HH horrible hubby.

Is he nice as pie when he's sober ?

Wont tell you what i put up with but it's not nice.
Please dont put up with it for a long while like i did he wont change. My ex an alcoholic now and i have nothing to do with him.

I thought i would not be able to cope on my own and that it was all my fault he drank told lies and we never had any money even tho i worked 12 hour days

When he came home and said he had something to tell me and had lost his job that was the final straw i plucked up courage from somewhere and told him i had something to tell him and he could get out .:) Give him a week to go. He went with no arguments and it was the best thing i ever did.

I did struggle at begining because i was left with money worries bills not paid when i thought they had i had given him money to pay them

Had to pack in my well earned job to look after DS but it was all worth it. OMG i am sat here thinking well done gal.

I sorted money worries out got divorced and have never looked back. Hope i not wrote TMI sorry guys and gals if i have.

    tweets, I salute you ! Well done.:A
    Hope is not a strategy.

thanks rooted, if offer ends on 22nd does it end at midnight so if you bought after midnight DTD would work if SEL not changed?

I am not sure exactly when the tills are updated - need to wait for this otherwise you would be charged the "old" price. Pretty sure it ISN'T at midnight - have in my head sometime around 3 am but not sure why :o

It has been reported by more than 1 person that in their asda the £2 nappy moc wasn't allowed to be used on the starter kits again.

Apparently they had been told by HO.

I used one today and my A's are really strict with vouchers.
I used the self service, but all coupons have to be shown to staff and authorised and they put them in the coupon slot after they have checked them.

Just a small tosco DTD if you happen to find any. 2 pack Pongo special edition car air freshners SEL states 24p they scanned at 95p = £1.42 DTD. 1 air freshner has a panda on the front and the other one has a monkey b/code ends 001263.

Evening all! Peeps all married for today and lutzi1 reporting for duty.

    This made me laugh viv:D

True, but in extremis try opening both doors on the passenger side and go between them (and if you have a passenger you could get them to stand in front of you, just to cover all bases :)). Or learn to pee standing up, a little girl on a school trip I accompanied once did this to our astonishment, it is possible :D.

I'll try anything to avoid the cringing I did a few years ago when one of my grandchildren announced to the American lady sitting next to him at the Dolly Parton Dinner Show that 'yes, we did have a lot of snow in England and NANNY HAD TO WEE IN A PLASTIC CARRIER BAG WHEN SHE GOT STUCK IN THE SNOW' ! It wouldn't have been quite so bad - but the woman didn't quite catch what he'd said and asked him to repeat it. He duly obliged in an even louder voice.

He really wasnt very nice :( I know its really daft but he was almost scared of our dog and then started to go on about he thought he needed an xray for his stomache as it looked a bit bulbous, but he wouldnt feel it because he was worried our dog woud bite him!! by then he'd muzzled him, so how he thought he was going to bite him through a bl00dy muzzle I don't know? With all the stuff he was suggesting I don't think we'd have seen much change out of £1,000 :eek:And too top it off it was freezing in the vets as their heating had broken down and another vet was on the phone haggling over a callout charge and saying ok we'll wait until Monday, so they didnt have to pay callout charge! but they keep sick animals there overnight:(

    that's shocking:eek: that place needs closing down:mad:

Evening luvlies, hope everyone is safe and warm :D. Still catching up with the posts so back again in a while ;)
    Happy Birthday to Mhoc :bdaycake:

Logie, glad you got your Mr Shoes order ok :T

Just wanted to let you all know I found some lovely Gold Napkins in Sada this afternoon. They are 3-ply and have 20 in a pack. Sale price on shelf showing 38p, scanned at 20p. Ideal for my mum and dad's Golden Wedding celebrations tomorrow - I went back and got a few more ;). Picked up some of David and Artha's bin liners too - think it was you two who have been talking about them :T

Also found some cheap nix in M&S. The two part set 'shorts' sets (full price £9.50) are stickered at £4 but came up at £2 at the till, so thats a knicker for a nicker :rotfl:

Off to help DH with dinner now, after I've put all my napkins and bin liners away :D
:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove
