I'll try anything to avoid the cringing I did a few years ago when one of my grandchildren announced to the American lady sitting next to him at the Dolly Parton Dinner Show that 'yes, we did have a lot of snow in England and NANNY HAD TO WEE IN A PLASTIC CARRIER BAG WHEN SHE GOT STUCK IN THE SNOW' ! It wouldn't have been quite so bad - but the woman didn't quite catch what he'd said and asked him to repeat it. He duly obliged in an even louder voice.

We are moaning about the snow this week, is anyone watching the big freeze of 63?

Yes, perishing scary too ! I had just started work in Hounslow and lived in Highgate but I still got to work every day as the tubes were running after a fashion. Was late a few times though.

I tried to buy more of the almonds I posted about (200g pks 3 for £2), but they scanned at £1.52 each today:eek: It must have been an error. Keep a look out for the 3 for £2 sels as they might not have removed them from some stores. I had a basket full of stuff (xmas chocs and nuts) but everything scanned at full price. Left the whole lot at the SS tills. Told SA I'd left my purse in the car:o "hurry up and give us some 1p stuff Mr T" LOL

It has been reported by more than 1 person that in their asda the £2 nappy moc wasn't allowed to be used on the starter kits again.

Apparently they had been told by HO.
Just used one at a manned till, and all okay. :D
