I haven't seen a spar for years in the UK. I thought they were only on the continent now. Must find out if we have any around here. Off to google...0 -

Was it 1982 when we last had snow like that in our neck of the woods? No school for a week and I couldn't walk the dog as she just disappeared through the snow0 -

Evening all,
Thanks for all of your good wishes. You are all so lovely :A
Well, we managed our walk in the woods. Was a bit chilly but pushing the buggy and the pace of the others soon warmed me upAm soooo unfit. DS1 had a little accident and ended up with a fat lip but we generally had a nice time. Was good to get out and about again.
Pain eased off a bit during the day but seems to be coming back a bit now, maybe because i'm tired. I'm certainly getting some use out of my TENS machine. Never had it on this long for either of my labours. Finally feel like i'm getting my moneys worth :rotfl:
No sign of the white stuff here in the East yet. Think the forecast says we can expect some overnight. I've no plans to go anywhere for the next couple of days so it won't really affect me either way. Always think its exciting for the children though (big ones included)
Glad you enjoyed your outing in the woods this afternoon.
We haven't had any snow yet either, but it is very cold.
Got a letter from the gas board on Saturday to say they will be replacing gas pipes in my street next week so they will have to turn off the gas supply all day on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.0 -
Not a flake of snow here in NE Scotland, last time we were snowed in was on my daughters 21st on the 28th of Jan. She will be 30 this year. : )Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0
