Anyway update on cheap bin bags from B and M

60 for 99p feel thin as in pull them out of bin and you only get the top half and they need to be an inch longer for my bin only a bit sticking over edge. So I would need to put a block of wood in bin then bin bag to stop them being pulled into bin when we put rubbish in there . So far not good but will have to see if they rip when I remove them.

Kitchen roll that I have been buying 3 rolls 3 ply 70 sheets £1.29 thought it was a £1 but must have been mistaken can not go wrong at that price.

Aquafresh toothpaste in a pump 99p good times :D

Davemorton have you ever been snowed in ??

Excellent question. First 2 or 3 days are fine, then you get frustrated, day six you are going stir crazy and it becomes hell.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I think I saw this on MoneySavingExpert but not absolutely sure about it. Special offer of some wonderful face-cream called DSM 'Dead Sea' Beauty Kit, one pot night-cream, one pot day-cream and one pot eye-gel and it was a trial for just the postage of £3.95. I paid - it arrived - ok nice stuff. Then they offered me some 'serum' as well, again for just the postage, £2.95. I have just received my credit card statement. Yes, on 7 Dec £3.95 went out, on 17 Dec £ 2.95 went out. - - And then on the 28 Dec DSM charged me £87.95 and on the 1 Jan they again charged me £ 87.82. I rang the CCard provider to stop any more money going out and will ring the DSM firm in the US tomorrow. Horror! What is going on here ?! Anyone else fallen for this?

I think my sister got caught up in this scam. She cancelled her credit card as she was worried how much she would take. I will ask her tommorow exactly what the deal was and report back

    Evening all,

Thanks for all of your good wishes. You are all so lovely :A

Well, we managed our walk in the woods. Was a bit chilly but pushing the buggy and the pace of the others soon warmed me up :p Am soooo unfit. DS1 had a little accident and ended up with a fat lip but we generally had a nice time. Was good to get out and about again.

Pain eased off a bit during the day but seems to be coming back a bit now, maybe because i'm tired. I'm certainly getting some use out of my TENS machine. Never had it on this long for either of my labours. Finally feel like i'm getting my moneys worth :rotfl:

No sign of the white stuff here in the East yet. Think the forecast says we can expect some overnight. I've no plans to go anywhere for the next couple of days so it won't really affect me either way. Always think its exciting for the children though (big ones included) :D
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

I tthink I saw something on the tv about that or a similair con but the way it was set up the customer could not cancel only they could cancel the payment something to do with the type of agreement that was entered into. (Not 100% here but something to do with your bank card number not cc)
Hopefully they get it sorted tomorrow
