Well I am a granny, and I wish him all the best of luck for tomorrow, so you wouldnt really be lying if you say Granny/Nanny sent a message with (((hugs))) for tomorrow, and a great big sloppy X to go with it.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
Evening all,
Thanks for all of your good wishes. You are all so lovely :A
Well, we managed our walk in the woods. Was a bit chilly but pushing the buggy and the pace of the others soon warmed me upAm soooo unfit. DS1 had a little accident and ended up with a fat lip but we generally had a nice time. Was good to get out and about again.
Pain eased off a bit during the day but seems to be coming back a bit now, maybe because i'm tired. I'm certainly getting some use out of my TENS machine. Never had it on this long for either of my labours. Finally feel like i'm getting my moneys worth :rotfl:
No sign of the white stuff here in the East yet. Think the forecast says we can expect some overnight. I've no plans to go anywhere for the next couple of days so it won't really affect me either way. Always think its exciting for the children though (big ones included)I am not young enough to know everything.0 -

WOOHOO!!! The snow is finally here, hope the other 3 foot of it follows!!!
By morning hopefully, the problem school will open, we will struggle through the snow and ice - which I am scared to drive on (same as everyone going to work I know) then if it gets worse we will have to wait for a decision about closing then it takes ages to contact parents to collect children. Last time in the bad snow we opened and then closed, and I got home hours later than normal, queued in traffic for hours just to cross town and the stopping and starting on the snow in the traffic jam was scary.0 -

Best wishes to your ds for tomorrow. My 36 year old friend had to be put out for an op last year for the first time ever and was really worried, I can imagine how hard it must be for a youngster.
Big hugs to you both0 -
I on the other hand would prefer no snow or ice as my mum needs two sticks to get about and would be housebound until it thawed:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Marinellajosefa wrote: »I think I saw this on MoneySavingExpert but not absolutely sure about it. Special offer of some wonderful face-cream called DSM 'Dead Sea' Beauty Kit, one pot night-cream, one pot day-cream and one pot eye-gel and it was a trial for just the postage of £3.95. I paid - it arrived - ok nice stuff. Then they offered me some 'serum' as well, again for just the postage, £2.95. I have just received my credit card statement. Yes, on 7 Dec £3.95 went out, on 17 Dec £ 2.95 went out. - - And then on the 28 Dec DSM charged me £87.95 and on the 1 Jan they again charged me £ 87.82. I rang the CCard provider to stop any more money going out and will ring the DSM firm in the US tomorrow. Horror! What is going on here ?! Anyone else fallen for this?
There is a thread about this somewhere, I read it the other day. You may have to cancel your card and get a new one.0 -
evening:)
Am I allowed to make a late New Years resolution?.....ok, I need to get more technology savvy before I go mad:rotfl:
Today, I spotted in a shop a small credit card sized item, that I figured contained a code to 'purchase' some sort of Internet access. I bought it and at 7 PM...and besides making 3 cups of coffee Ive spent the whole time trying to figure how the sodding thing works:o
obviously I finally succeeded:T .......unless Im not really here:rotfl:0 -
