The easiest tea loaf you will ever make:)

    13oz mixed fruit
    5oz sugar
Half a pint of hot strong tea
    11 oz SR flour
    1 beaten egg

Soak fruit and sugar in tea overnight
Next day add flour and egg and mix well.
Put mixture into lined loaf tin and cook for one and a half hours in a medium hot oven.

    Eat with lurpak:)

that looks good similar to our Bara Brith with the addition of marmalade really good for lunch boxes.. and keeps well

happy birthday couponqueen hope you have a great day..

    That looks absolutely delish:)
Back from shopping with Nannylala and decided not to wait for whoopsie time. The sky is looking decidely white so thought it best to get out and back. Nannylala picked up lovely Xmas serviettes for 10p in S's though, and we got our whoopsies at 50% in T's. Not really brilliant but still better than full price;)Nannylala got another 8 bottles of Lenor for 68p a bottle because she'd noticed the deal runs out today so she used her vouchers:T:T
She keeps looking at me like I'm mad though when I smell the satsumas and clementines in T's:oPlease tell me someone else does it, the more "orangey" they smell the sweeter and juicier they are. If I can't smell anything I won't buy them and she thinks its really funny, it really tickles her for some reason:rotfl:

I always smell the fruit, found out years ago when working next to a grocers that he wouldn't put anything out as 'ready to eat' if he couldn't smell anything from them. The girl who was on during the day showed me their store room and how he labelled the boxes so they knew roughly when to start putting them out.
It was really good, I never had a piece from them that I had cause to complain about. He used to do mixed bags with any five pieces for £1, pretty good for lunches at work and they lasted all week too.

I thank you very much :D

Couple of years ago I bought a pair of karrimor walking shoes. They are brilliant for walking in snow and ice.

I should dig them out really. I bought a set of yak trax last year that need locating, just in case

I have to walk 2.5 miles in the snow/ice to work. Quite often it's only me there. The buses all stop here when we get a 1mm covering of snow

I got my grippers i bought beginning last year that Kadison posted about from Amazon so they are in easy reach hope they going to be ok. Will look at the shoes you posted about its all down steep hills going to both schools :(

Ditzy was  when she saw were i lived ;)

Buses not that bad here unless snow catches council unawares then its chaos , but i always walk bus doesnt stop near kitchen school and cleaning school not far.
