When buying whoopsies, remember veg will sit quite happily in the bottom of your fridge for yonks ( technical expression)

These red Brussels sprouts on stalks were bought the week before Christmas and are still going strong:)

And yes Dave. We all must meet up soon!:)

No idea TM I hate shopping with a passion  too many people wandering around, window shopping, blocking isles you name it.

Much prefer to get in and out ;) with whatever bargains I am after and with the help of the elite I know before I go what I am after and sometimes where they are hidden :rotfl:Bea how are you ?

Thanks for asking David. - had another relapse nose is streaming and chest is once again congested and cough come back - not sure what I need to do to shift this as it has been over a fortnight now

Do you all remember me mentioning last Tuesday night my DH dropped his wallet in Mr T's carpark Coulby N+wh+m, he didn't realise until Wednesday morning, shouting and slamming doors!

Anyway, I rang cs and someone handed it in with not a 1p missing - I was wondering if it was one of you who found it whilst looking for womble and whoopsies as it was around 6pm when he lost it, if so thank you very much :A

WOW great to read that it was handed in you must have been so relieved

Happy birthday couponqueen hope you are having a great day

    Good Afternoon :)

All you wishing for snow i hope you all get it bad like we usually have it up here then you will be wishing it would go away :p

For schools shutting the two i work at dont normally shut and i struggle to walk to them  pavements are horrendous :(

    :j No snow here :j

Couple of years ago I bought a pair of karrimor walking shoes. They are brilliant for walking in snow and ice.

I should dig them out really. I bought a set of yak trax last year that need locating, just in case

I have to walk 2.5 miles in the snow/ice to work. Quite often it's only me there. The buses all stop here when we get a 1mm covering of snow
