Just a quick note about Facebook.
A person can have a maximum of 5000 friends
A group cannot send messages to all it's members once it is over 1000 people in size.

I have been creating facebook apps for a while now and you start to realise that the only way of staying in touch with a large group of people is a profile box as part of a facebook application.

It could work quite well actually. The application shows all the latest tips and the profile box shows the links to them, updated every day.

Might do this unofficially if its a no from MSE towers?
