The last labour mob brought in the WCA to throw at least 1million off IB now we have the nastier tories who are taking the WCA further to also denying genuine sick and disdabled people gettign benefits.
To achieve this target they are using their friends at Atos who are doing their bidding for £100 million a year plus the £millions in successful appeals against Atos's sub-standard WCAs!
It would be good to know if Atos or any company's that belong to the same Group Donate money to and Political party's In the UK, or any Political party's in Europe.
Also do they fund any think tanks ?:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

I don't believe the Atos doctor lies, I believe it's the computer's stock answers that are weighed to fail a person.
Atos "doctors" lying is a moot point however as far as the LIMA computer software that Atos developed to drive these WCAs is concerned the "doctor or HCP" can override the computers decisions and put their own observations in. However given that Atos have targets to throw people off benefits this I suppose rarely happens and the computer invariably says NO and hence the high rate of successful appeals at huge cost to the taxpayer but not to Atos who are laughing all the way to the bank!0 -

I heard a rumour that an Atos doctor has to have a really good reason to overide the system and change the final stock answers. If they change too many stock answers they get looked at for quality control and may lose their job. No idea if it's true.
As I have put on here before, a friend of mine is an Atos doctor and although he does not say much about his job, He did tell me that he was very restricted in what he actually could put on the computer. To be honest I didn't understand a lot he said, he talked about questions over ruling other questions. He did tell me a lot about what goes on at the assessment and what the Atos doctor looks out for. Makes reading this thread very interesting though.0 -

Yes it looks like my dd's assessment and/or doctor was audited after her WCA as it took so long for the DWP to receive it. Thankfully, eventually, they got it right4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
1st feb l recieved the ESA50, deadline is 4th march. 2nd feb l recieved my appointment for the Atos assessment on 13th feb. Can I ask the Atos rep why as l understood the information was to be sent back before the medical & then it would be decided if l needed a face to face assessment.Clearly this has not happened.
Hi outtawork
you are correct regarding the process. If the appointment relates to ESA I don’t know why it would have been arranged. Apart from the questionnaire reminder letter it is the return of the questionnaire or the passing of the return date that prompts further action. If you can contact us using the details in our profile we can look into it for you.“Official Company Representative

You keep missing this one, can you please find a little time to at least answer one of my questions
Question for the rep...
Does a HCP' specifically a NURSE have to identify themselves with their name and registration number in the same way that a Doctor must tell you his or her GMC number.0
