again atos are your hcp on peace work.
could i ask everyone else to also ask this question until we get an answer?
they answered the commission question, so why not the 'peace work' one.
is the above clear enough for you atos?Atos are your assessors on peace work?
Hi photomad1975. I answered this in post 322, but it was in addition to another answer, so apologies if it wasn’t clear it was responding to you. Ebsay, Halight and vision2009 this answers your queries as well.
We have a number of contracted doctors amongst the health care professionals who work on the DWP medical services contract. Contracted doctors are paid in relation to the assessments undertaken. The same training and approval is required as employed doctors and the quality of their work is audited to the same standards. Payment is never based on the outcome of a claim or the advice given to the DWP.“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Atos Healthcare. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

Sam Poling investigates the Government's expensive welfare reforms that aim to get disabled people into work, and asks who is really gaining from them. She reveals that some private companies are benefiting financially from these reforms despite only being able to get a small number of disabled people back to work, and speaks to charities that believe the most vulnerable in society are being failed.

Question to the Atos PR Rep.
How many "Atos doctors" or "Healthcare professionals" are currently under investigation by the General Medical Council over allegations of improper conduct?0 -

I think atos hide behind the excuse that it's the DWPs fault where they have their assessment centres. So tough if a disabled person can't get in!
Best bet is for the discriminated person is to contact their MP and report atos for this egregious situation being allowed to prevail.0 -
The rep isn't here to respond to propaganda about targets etc.
No the rep is here to answer questions on the following:
• Clarifications about the Work Capability Assessment questionnaire
• Appointments/Assessments
• Travel and travel expenses to the assessment
• Home visits
• Health Care Professionals and their qualifications (but not specific individuals)
To which they have already proved this to be incorrect given my question on the assessment didn't get answered even though the questions were directly linked to this and the training the HCP's should receive to carry out the WCA.
The rep is only here to answer any questions which can be copied and pasted from their web site. Its about time this thread was closed.0 -

Seems they hide behind the DWP on anything to do with the process. They couldn't even answer what is medically reasonable in cases where an aid hasn't been prescribed so the assessor can suggest one based on set criteria including medically reasonable.0
