Refer to DWP for questions about govt policy and LIMA.

You're in the wrong username - you need to be switching back to the Atoss rep for this thread.

I suggest you check on what Atos are supposed to request from medical doctors and consultants and then disregard. We've already learnt that Atos may phone up a doctor to request where the clinical details if they are late in arriving, but as we know it's not in Atos's interest to get a medical opinion of the level of disability a person has as Atos's prime objective is throwing people off their benefits thus keeping to their targets.
We've already learnt no such thing. You have an opinion but you really need to understand the distinction in roles before making sweeping statements.

Doctors diagnose and treat what is wrong

Atos assess how that diagnosis affects the claimants capability for work in relation to eligibility for benefits.

Plus the fact is there are no targets.

Atos are not on piece work, they do not receive bonus or remuneration based on how may wca's they do.

It is however, I'm sure you'll agree, in theirs and the claimants interests to process wca's as expediently as possible.

Can i ask, how do you know the answer to these questions? Do you work for either Atos or the Dwp? To know 100% that you are giving the correct answers you must have inside knowledge. I do know the actual answer to these questions as i have a friend who works as an Atos doctor, but how do you know the answer to these questions.

Also i thought this was the ask atos rep a question thread, not ask atos rep a question and get it answered by Fridge3 thread.

You'll get no answer from him about those.

It amounts to the same thing - Fridge3 astro-turfs for Atoss anyway.

Nope. He's right, and you're wrong.

    Not necessarily.

Which Atoss do very, very badly.

You don't do facts, and there are targets - both Atoss and the present/last government have already said as much.

MSE guidelines don't advise naming employers. Of course, as you know the actual answers you could reveal them yourself unless you feel there's a conflict of interest.

The atos rep won't be able to answer this question for reasons stated in OP so an answer now may stop them reiterating something that the rep can't respond to.

With 7 previous posts out of 591 I'd hardly call it the Fridge3 thread, especially when there are others disrupting the thread with non helpful and disruptive posts. But that's what they do, taking things out of proportion and context then propagate it back as something vile. You've only to look at some of the unsubtantiated vitriol on this thread alone to see that.

People like FTW et al will end up doing the same as cit_k did some time ago when he heckled help and support off the site.

Sorry but that makes little sense

It is either a singular person or persons as in plural.

Yes we have, I suggest you go back and check the very few responses from this Atos PR person.

'Conflict of interest'? In an Atoss-related thread, that's appropriate.

You mean you won't be able to answer the question?

Bit rich for you to accuse others of 'non helpful and disruptive posts' when you haven't made a single helpful post on this thread yet - or on any other thread, for that matter.

What help and support would that be, then?

If you mean the generic, pre-scripted letter response answers, then that's not help and support, and it only serves in getting people's backs up.

Which is why many don't want Atoss to be posting here - they don't see the point, because they're not going to get a sincere or truthful answer.

It was a bad idea for them to post here - and if they had any common sense, they wouldn't have bothered starting in the first place.

The problem is is that your atos friends/colleagues are not paying any attention to the diagnoses that doctors and consultants are providing; hence the huge number of sub-standard WCAs and the large number of people dying shortly after atos have found them fit for work. Check out calumslist.org as highlighted by an MP during a debate highlighting the shocking inhumane treatment shown to sick and disabled people by atos.

It's a case of the [LIMA] Computer saying NO!!!!!!

Also your atos friend/colleague in the TV programme exposing atos certainly suggested atos work to targets by "having a word" with so called "healthcare professionals" who put too many sick and disabled people into the support group.
