I don't think they will close the thread down. If they did ATOS would probably take them to court the get the whole site shut down like they have done In the past, to other sites where people have spoken out ageist them.
I believe that is why ATOS are here and allowed to post.
MSE dose not wont to end up In court fighting and very big company like ATOS.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

That clip certainly indicated that Atos works to targets!!0 -
I really can't believe you have given space to those evil people that make money off the misery of disabled people. Have you not watched the undercover reports from BBC Panorama or Channel 4? Have you not seen the phrase used by this government and reported in the media as a way to get the disabled into work, "ARBIET MACHT FREI", (work sets you free) which was on the gates to Nazi concentration camps during WWII. Perhaps they will start to gas the disabled in this country like the Germans did.
Martin, you have gone from a champion to the gutter in my eyes by providing a medium for ATOS propaganda. The screen name I use is an apt description of how ATOS made me feel the last time I was there
The next time I am in an ATOS building for "a medical" will very likely be my last day on this planet because I plan to kill myself during the interview. I am tired of fighting and of the stress and depression the sub-human individuals at ATOS cause.
PLEASE, PLEASE DELETE THIS WHOLE THREAD ABOUT ATOS AND NEVER EVER GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY AGAIN.0 -

- What % of the 76% who are qualified to carry out WCA's work on the front line and actually carry out WCA's on a day to day basis interacting directly with 'customers' .. .. are registered as 'doctors' ?
Thank-you for your help in this matter.
I think you are referring to figures from an old press release, which included employees of Atos Healthcare working on all contracts and not just the DWP Medical Services contract. We have approximately 1400 health care professionals working specifically on the DWP Medical Services contract across all benefit assessments that we are contracted to deliver. This breaks down into approx. 750 doctors (of which approx. 500 are contracted and 250 are employed); 600 nurses and 50 physiotherapists. The majority of time for all types of health care professional will be face-to-face work, with other time being spent on such things as paper reviews of referrals, audit, management tasks, and training. Splits will vary by individual and so I can’t provide a general percentage.photomad1975 wrote: »Are the HCP on peace work?
Contracted doctors are paid in relation to the assessments undertaken. The same training and approval is required as employed doctors and the quality of their work is audited to the same standards. Payment is never based on the outcome of a claim or the advice given to the DWP.’“Official Company Representative

2 Questions please.
Your opinion on Q1
Question 1
I have some very serious health issues which was the result of a quadrupole bypass leaving me with many difficulties including not being able to walk to far without getting out of breath and using my GTN, and my lungs filling up with liquid every day, I also can not leave the house until my medication has done its job which is about 2.30/3.00 pm
each and everyday. I stated all this in my ESA50 and I've also sent in a medical report from my doctor but I was amazed that the Atos HCP (Nurse who I can not find on the GMC site) who looked at my case said "The level of disability is unclear" When all my paperwork sent in clearly states my limitations and was backed up by a report from my GP. Not only have they got this wrong, Atos for 12 months now; can't even get an appointment time correct knowing I can not leave home at say 10 am they send me an appointment for 10 am  to date I have had 11 appointments which have all had to be cancelled. So my question the Atos rep is simple: If you have read what I have written here? how can anyone make such a statement as this "The level of disability is unclear" and you can make this a general answer as I'm sure you will.
You opinion on the Q2
Question 2
The Dwp's interpretation of Section 3(2) SSA 1998 is correct for 'Data Processors', The ICO still defines any organisation which 'offers and opinion which on the balance of probabilities, may alter a later decision' as Data Controllers, therefore the Dwp's interpretation in respect of forwarding information to ATOS Healthcare or any other contracted organisation, in view of offering 'an opinion' is in err of law.0 -
Why do Atos deliberately overbook processing slots leading to disabled people having to wait for very long times in ill-equiped waiting rooms?
Unfortunately, there is a variable attendance pattern for our appointments. We attempt to make the optimum use of medical resource each day while trying to maintain the best possible customer service. This is a balance which we strive to get right, in consultation with the DWP. Therefore, we have to anticipate that a number of people will not attend their appointments, which can be difficult to predict and varies from day to day. Sometimes this does result in waiting times which we always aim to minimise, keeping customers informed and we will reschedule their appointment if requested.
Our booking policy for each Assessment Centre is constantly reviewed and adapted in the light of local attendance rates and circumstances.“Official Company Representative

What percentage of your HCP are trained to deal with mental health issues as i am sure you are well aware that mental health is a serious issue for some people so not having someone without the correct knowledge in this field can be potentially dangerous.
Also can we ask for proof from a HCP that they are trained in this field???CashBack earned to date - £1244-580 -
MSE_Andrea wrote: »Hi everyone
Atos should be answering all questions that it can.
A couple of people have asked why Atos isn't answering questions in order. We asked Atos not to hold off answering later questions while they were gathering the info for earlier ones, so that people hopefully get their answers sooner rather than later.
