How come you can now tell us your compant process over the phone now?
In one of you other posts you told us that we could not be told as it was owned by the DWP and we would have to ask them about the process ?

    Hi halight

I clarified in post 689 that what I couldn’t provide was the internal process guidance that is followed when complaints are made, as it is owned by DWP.

    no, I meant:

Comments like this towards atos professionals who support claimants are vile propaganda, lies and serve no purpose.

It's rather ironic that those who perceive atos lies twist and lie for all to see.

Excuse me, I have been treated nothing but fairly by ATOS. Everything they have done with me has been spot on, and I've been dealing with them through my work with Royal Mail too. I didn't believe all the stories that were going around until it happened to my dd.

My daughter on the other hand. They told lies about. Petty, stupid, irrelevant lies, but lies none the less. If you look back you will see the lies I've highlighted in a previous post. Funnily enough, she was put straight into support group this time. You don't find it strange that one person can find her fit for work and another can place her in support group? She wasn't even asked about her physical health problems on her first WCA, just focused on her MH problems, when it's her PH problems that stop her from being able to work :wall:

As you say "The remit of the thread is questions about the Work Capability Assessment process" (not that you've answered any of them properly) so given that Atos "doctors" and "HCP" are involved in the WCA process how many "doctors" and "HCPs" have been reported to the GMC or Regulatory Bodies for carrying out sub-standard WCAs?

Dear ATOS rep,its probably answered somewhere on here but i can't find it.

Is there CCTV in the assessment room?

    Hi little monkey

The answer is no for almost all assessment rooms. A very small number of assessment rooms around the country are used for training as well as assessments. These have CCTV cameras installed which are used when the trainees perform simulated assessments, so the trainer and trainee can later review the case and discuss learning points. These cameras would never be active outside the training setting though, and not during any actual assessments.

    Hi Olive Oyl

If you can contact us using the details in our profile we can look into your specific circumstances and discuss them with you directly.

Thank you for the swift reply , however I would rather not provide my details , the reason being that I actually passed .

This was my 2nd assessment and as said the doctor had no information from my GP or ESA50 because I was in no fit state to send it . Unlike my first when the doctor had all the information they needed & failed me . My symptoms were exactly the same .

You couldn't make it up could you . ;)
    Never tell .

I agree - there is little point in being abusive to individuals online. It is better to try to take complaints through proper channels such as your MP, GMC and the NMC. It is understandable that people do get extremely stressed and angry when they are repeatedly lied to/about , there seems to be little support available and when people repeatedly tell untruths about your health.

I also believe that some ATOS employees are professional, I have heard several stories of this. Sadly I can honestly say that I have not come across one apart from the Independent Tier of their complaints process.

I have stated many lies told by ATOS - could you please tell me how I have twisted and lied on this thread or in my blog as I believe that everything I have said is well evidenced.

    Thanks,
    Dee

You seem to be muddying the waters rather than clarifying them. I asked for the complaints procedure that ATOS follow as I did not know the next stages and was not being told.
ATOS said that I could not have them, you seemed to agree that this was the case.
I did not ask for 'internal process guidance'.
I have the original refusal in writing if you would like me to put in online.

    Thanks,
    Dee

Question for the Atos PR Rep.

The ESA50 descriptor and the legislation respectively state with regard to "Going up or down two steps" the following:-

'Can you go up or down two steps without help from another person, if there is a rail to hold on to?'

    and

'Cannot, unaided by another person, mount or descend two steps even with the support of a handrail.'

Note that the legislation says 'a handrail'..singular. However the Atos Handbook which HCPs are supposed to adhere to states with respect to this descriptor:-

"It should be noted that the descriptor indicates inability to perform this task even if holding on to a handrail(s).

Clearly this is incorrect as the descriptor and the legislation states "a rail" singular not plural!!

    it continues...
Therefore the individual’s abilities must be considered within the context of a handrail being present.

At least they've got this bit right.

This activity reflects a test of walking up or down 2 steps, not of whether one hand or two hands is needed for support while doing so. Therefore a person who can manage the two steps with support of two handrails would be considered as capable of performing this activity."

So why is Atos ignoring the legislation and saying that if you can use 2 handrails (even though the legislation says only one handrail) you can carry out the activity!!!

No, they were made in response the post that highlighted bile like this:

Whose comment did you think I was actually referring to?

    Fridge3 wrote: »
Of course all such bile is unproven.

It's not bile, and it is proven.

In the same way you keep repeating 'you don't do facts' with nothing to back it up.

Well, you don't do facts - plenty of people on this board agree with that, and as you may have noticed, you're not doing too well on this thread.

    But, some things never change.

    Fridge3 wrote: »
You'll note your other lies have been removed too so perhaps wise to stick to facts in future.

I didn't post any lies, though.

Such as those stats I have posted for example.

And where have said stats come from? If you're quoting them, I'd hazard a guess from some biased, disingenuous source.
