Well, extra £3.50-£4 makes a big difference when comparing £12 with £17.
However, the 'bubble' are cheap because they are notorious for having vague T&C and using every possible excuse for not paying (similarly to many other cheap mobile insurers).
That said, I agree that paid for accounts are not a good value for money for the majority of people. This was the (tongue-in-cheek) point of my first two posts in this thread.0 -
I think the accounts are ok it helps improve my banking stigma with natwest they seem quite fickle but ther are good service for me online mobile etc and i have like the early cheque clearing payments of wages on a sat and you can cancel direct debits on same day there going out0

They're a business, they're in business to make money. You expect wages, buildings, online and offline services and such like run on wishes and happy thoughts? Of course not.
If you don't like to pay, fine. Don't. If you don't pay for your banking stop expecting the damn earth of these companies and see how far your direct debits go.0 -

Depending on your phone you can get phone insurance for a couple of quid a month.
So, what, £10-£12 a month compared to Natwest's £17...
Hold on the £16 a month includes worldwide family insurance as well and the taste card which usually costs about £70 a year. there's more than two benefits you know.Mortgage 1: May 2012 £90,000 April 2020: £47,000
Mortgage 2: £270,000😱 Jan 2019 £253,000 April 20200 -

£204? Where are you plucking these figures from? It's £180 p.a
If you would use all the benefits then st the end of the day you would save money.Mortgage 1: May 2012 £90,000 April 2020: £47,000

My apologies. My memory failed me and I thought it was £17, not £16. If it really is £16, that's what I see on the website, then £16*12=£192Southernman wrote: »£204? Where are you plucking these figures from? It's £180 p.a
Who said all? I merely replied to the OP who said:If you would use all the benefits then st the end of the day you would save money.

Holy sh*t. Give it a rest will you.
I wouldn't use either of those "benefits", so FOR ME the £16 (apologies, I thought it was £16.95 pm) doesn't provide good value.
If it works for you, then great. I'm not saying it's a rip off for everyone. Just me.0
