Apparently these cuts are going to impact some working families by as much as £200 a year. That's nearly £5 a week.
How the fr1gging hell is anyone supposed to cope with this devastating reduction in benefits????????

It is usually the innocent that nearly always suffer unjustly, the people that should be exposed are those who claim unjustifiably and get away with it such as this headline in todays paper...
...A man who claimed he could hardly walk has been jailed for swindling almost £90,000 in benefits after being caught working as a gym instructor...
How many more are getting away with it?0 -

I'd suggest if working families cannot cope with a £5 reduction a week, theres something seriously wrong with that family.0 -

How the fr1gging hell are the people who work & therefore pay for all benefits supposed to cope with paying for even bigger increases? Especially since their own wage increases are low or non-existent?0 -
What cuts do you speak of?0

It's a bit less than £4 a day, barely 50p a day.
I put my income through the benefits website and I could claim more than I was earning when I was on £30,000 a year. I have 2 kids and I lived in the South East outside London. It's simply not sustainable to pay out such huge sums for people not to work.0 -
Not to speak of the £50 per week child benefit cut, the no wage increases for 4 years (not 1.2% less than inflation, about 15-20% less than inflation) plus the inmpact of tax allowances not being indexed to inflation but actually sharply reduced plus the NI (= income tax) increase to 2% so probably 25% worse off in real terms as opposed to 1.2% for those on benefits.
Sure those higher up can afford it more but don't claim that they haven't already taken their fair share.I think....0 -

Not forgetting that for those with kids, it's only the top 40% that are putting into the system on a net basis. 60% for families take more than they pay in tax.
It's all very well to bang on about the 1% or the bankers or the Jews but ultimately if you're looking for a few to carry the many they will need very broad shoulders.

Not even a Communist is happy to pay 75% in tax!0
