Hi again! Lambeth have an advice page on their website: http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/Services/HousingPlanning/PrivateHousing/AdvicePrivateTenants/DealingWithHarassment.htm

This says to call their Private Sector Advice team at the Housing Options and Advice Centre by calling 020 7926 4200.

NB: They are closed now, open again tomorrow morning.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Why do you consider this not to be the information required?

How well was the lock fitted, if they failed to tighten the screw bolt on the edge of the door, the lock may slide out and become lost
Too well, but I may try to change it in the next days.

None : they just send me in loop (phone call) to another department/service.

I do not remember to have said that.

However I have checked G_M' statments regarding the deposit rules on shelter's website : the rules have definitively changed in April 2012. The landlord has failed to protect the deposit before 06 May 2012 also could not serve me a section 21 notice.

Did you actually speak to the Private Sector Advice team?

If so, what reason did they give for not helping?
