Hi

@Sneakyfate, did your money come back through? We are having the same problem...

Thanks

They don't answer. I emailed them and they replied within 4 mins, when I replied again, giving the game away that they had taken money from me, they haven't yet replied..... Hoping Sneakypeak can help

Sneakyfate hasn't logged on since 9/1/2013 so I doubt you'll get a reply.

However, if you'd read the thread fully, you would have seen this post which says he/she was refunded.

Literally moments after my last post, I received two e-mails. One from "staff@estavisa.co.uk", to whom my request for a refund (sent to sales@uk-passport.net) had been forwarded. It reads: I’m sorry you feel you have been wronged, as you said yourself however our website clearly states our service, which is a check and send service.
You have now been refunded

The other e-mail is from hipay.com confirming the refund. It remains to check my bank account, but it seems that no harm has been done, and a lesson learned.
:j

Have you emailed the right place?
Have you given all the necessary details that they ask for?

What do you mean by 'giving the game away'?
What was the reason you emailed them first, got a reply and then emailed them again (presumably that 2nd time asking for a refund)?

Blimey, aren't some people on here aggressive, I only posted for some advice, not snide comments.

@Pollycat, that's a copy and paste from the company telling him he's been fully refunded, I wanted to find out whether they had actually sent him his money back or whether that was sent to get him off their backs for a bit, but thanks for the pointless remark.

It remains to check my bank account, but it seems that no harm has been done, and a lesson learned.

Just for the record, I'm trying to get the money back for someone else who was foolish enough to use this website, doing a good deed, I don't like to see people getting ripped off, purposefully or not, depends on your point of view.

Hopefully I'm getting somewhere now, without gb12345's stupid, sarcastic reply.

Don't you think that if he hadn't got his money back he would have been back to complain? People don't tend to post the positive outcomes, just the negative one.

As to my reply being stupid and sarcastic, if you or your "friend" had bothered to read the T&Cs that they agreed to you would know exactly how to cancel and get a refund - the experience of a random person on the Internet 5 months ago has no relevance to the likelihood of your friend getting a refund.

Read the T&Cs, follow the instructions and see what happens.

I'll leave you and PollyCat to get a room, however, you might be too tired from being so aggressive and thinking up smart Alec comments for people looking for advice, ciao!

And you say people on here are agressive. :rotfl:
Ciao to you too.

Maybe you could advise your friend to take a little more care when sat at the PC with a credit card in his/her hand.....
They weren't ripped off - they just didn't read what was in front of them.
End of.

I agree with gb12345 - I'm sure sneakyfate would have posted back if the refund hadn't been forthcoming.

I gave you advice - if it is too difficult for you to follow then by all means carry on waiting for Sneakyfate to revisit the site and update the thread on what happened when he followed the instructions. I think you'll probably be waiting quiate along time and will miss your chance of a refund.

They are being very careful to make sure that they are legal and anyone that uses their service only has themselves to blame for spending money that they didn't need to.
On almost every scam and rip-off that's posted on this Moneysavingexpert forum there is a group who want to defend the scam and blame the victim.

Unhelpful and suspicious.
