OMG, how have I missed this thread?! I was born a Sloblady. The only reason I wash up after tea every night is because the main house door is the kitchen, the sink is next to the door and I don't want the postman seeing my unwashed sinkful of dishes :rotfl:

I have to admit to vacuuming the whole house from top to bottom, inluding the stairs, today, though. Only cos I've got a brand new Hoover as the old one died 6 months ago :o and I was a bit excited. Rest assured, I didn't bother actually moving any furniture to do underneath :D

Is there an official Sloblady badge, something with a picture of a mop and bucket with a big diagonal line across it?;)

Reading the above, I supposed I really ought to load the dishwasher, after three days we're running out of plates...
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I've just moved house and put my old cooker outside for council to come and collect. Hadn't cleaned it for ages and was in a pretty grim state........someone pinched it!!......I can't believe it, I would have run for the hills once looked inside.

Oh hang on, was it capable of walking off by itself it was so rotten?

    Love reading this thread.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I returned from my holiday on 29th June. I gave my mother back the suitcase I had borrowed from her on 10th August. I put the last of my holiday 'bits' away on Sunday.

That sloblady emblem is looking more and more appealing...
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

    Ahh, I love this thread!

I have a house inspection tomorrow (we are moving soon, fingers crossed, just waiting for a date!) and it's a pigsty. We moved everything out of the loft and due to no storage space, there's stuff everywhere. I'm not sure what he's meant to be inspecting but if he can find anything he needs to without breaking his neck, good luck to him!

I'll have to make a concerted effort to clean the kitchen later, although it's box mountain at the moment too. Gah.

Hopefully, new house will have space for a dishwasher. Did I mention I'd kill for one? The amount of bowls, glasses and plates that accumulate in one day is mind blowing, plus I can never be !!!!!d to do it until it's completely necessary. Flyladying with a demanding toddler who can't be left alone for 5 minutes is impossible, so Sloblady it is.
  • Sat on the loo yesterday, as you do and i noticed a very thick layer of dust on the top surfaces of the toilet roll holder :o it has never occurred to me to dust there!

Tell him if he's going to do things like that then he may as well go the whole hog and clean them. Trust me, he won't do it again! :rotfl:
