I am still working on my version of Let's Sew (the same pattern that Maria has completed but I'm using DMC Color Variations and hand dyed fabric so it will look at bit different).
I've also updated my project list as I have been asked to stitch a wedding ring pillow (needed for July so should be OK). I will probably start this once I have finished Let's Sew.
I've also planning on doing Let's sew using variations thread and prob hand dyed fabric too - Maria is kindly sending me her chart so hope to make a start soon. I am looking forward to seeing how our ones differ..It is a lovely design!
Re: Ring pillow. have you considered a ring biscornu. I plan on doing one for October and saw some lovely patterns online. If interested let me know and i'll find the link.
To everyone else, Welcome! and love the updates, especially the Owl doorstop, I have a thing for Owls at present0 -

having finished my first project ,a blanket for dd, i have now started a crochet bag. im doing it in blue and white stripes ive nearly finished the bottom.
I find it easy to crochet whilst watching tv for an hour or two in the evening and its amazing how quickly it grows.
am planning on doing some knitting next have seen a couple of scarves that i want to do and a knitted top.
the sewing machine is coming out tonight as well my dd wants to learn how to use it so i will leave it out for a while as i have a couple of small projects that i want to do .You can if you think you can .0 -

I would love to see the link for the biscornu as I really like stitching these. I will probably stick to the design the bride to be has chosen for the ring pillow though until she has finalised her colour scheme I can't make a start - have been promised the details by the beginning of March so plenty of time.
My version of Let's Sew won't look that different to Maria's as the variations thread is blue. Have decided it would look effective in almost any colour and am really enjoying stitching it although it isn't making very fast progress as my stitching time is very limited at the moment0 -

Great list with lots of variety - I can see where Maria gets her crafting gene from
Is this the flapper in lilac design you are planning to stitch?
I love all the designs in this range and the Charleston lady in the same range has been on my wish list ever since my DS bought me a beautiful mother's day card with the same design.0
