He definitely is growing...although he tells me that he isn't (he's not allowed you see!). Haha oops, bf definitely does get fed, I promise haha!!
I MIGHT leave the spreadsheet for tonight. Shock!! I need to be at work early so an early night would do me no harm.
You're so right, it's going so fast and not slowing down  although if this is how fast the debt-busting months go, I can't imagine how fast it'll go when we're financially free!
Aww Jelly! Will you have a nursery party or is she too young? I think we had Littlie's first one when he was 4 but only because everyone else was doing it!

Zodzo, I hope this doesn't sound rude but is that a serious question? If so, you have the complete wrong end of the stick0

I just saw your other posts. I smell a troll. Nice chatting to you but I must go. You're welcome to stay, or leave, but your posts won't be considered.0

3 days to go until we've only got 17 months left of being in debt :j and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get a bonus in June so that we can bring that date forward!!

How great does that feel! I'm hoping to be clear by the summer. I keep thinking how lovely it will be to be debt free and have savings behind us for the first time in my adult life!

It is a great feeling, it'll allow us to save and have some freedom - I can't wait! The summer is so close, I bet you're excited! What are your plans for after that?

My plan is boring but to get an emergency fund together of 3 months then when that's achieved 6 months etc which I have started but only has £375 in. I also want to invest money somewhere but need to do some research on that as I'm clueless. I'm hoping this will be the beginning of early retirement planning!Mortgage [STRIKE]£269,000[/STRIKE] £258,987 / MF date [STRIKE]June'49[/STRIKE] June'49

I'm 28 Cream Tea, and I wish I could start planning for retirement now. I work in the industry for an IFA so see so many people in positions I could only dream of financially! What they put into a pension in a year I could earn in 10 years....
What used to frighten me (although the new rules have made it simpler) was that buying an annuity with £100,000 of pension would earn you around £6000 a year in income. So putting away £300-400k would mean only a vaguely similar existence to that which I have now, without taking inflation into account!
Sholly Littlie sounds hilarious. I am on the other side of the debt hill now, and am putting away savings as fast as I can but I have afforded myself some treats... new macbook for example. I would never have imagined spending that kind of money on myself in the past!!

I'm 28 too! I pay into my work pension but that's it as far as retirement plans go...actually, that's not true, I plan on winning the lottery on Saturday...Ah, it feels good to have a plan!!
