After feeling really carp earlier in the week, I have surpassed myself. Cleared out 1. The airing cupboard 2. A horrible old cupboard in the kitchen just a junk cupboard. 3. Cleared up the utility room, and Im half way through clearing up the office, almost done, and all that and all the washing done and dry outside (mostly). Kitchen sparkling and all bathrooms squeeky clean too (Not sure how long this enthusiasm will last but feel like Ive achieved loads this week.):)

Hello everyone, been quite productive lately hence not posting. Utility room now has a small sink installed which is a godsend as everyone who used the loo in there were washing hands in the kitchen sink, so a good job done. DS1's room has been insulated and now ready for slabbing so again all good re the house. Ned is currently strimming as he needs no petrol very mse, I moved some stakes to give him some more grass. He's delighted as he's been looking longingly at the longer grass other side of his gate!!:rotfl: DD has worked all week in the cafe which has meant me ferrying her but hey ho if you cant work hard at 20 then there is no hope. DS1 has had hours on the pumps too so he's working at 3 and then I pick them both up together, although she has to wait around for about an hour. Not much planned for today although the sun is actually making an appearance so maybe get ahead with the washing. Hope everyone has a good sunday.

Update required. Both older kids are working as is DH on a joinery job. DS2 still at school until next wednesday. Weather has been glorious so all washing done and up to date. DD had her 21st on Saturday and the bf also came down for the weekend, we bought her a nice bracelet and all had a meal at the local pub/restaurant thought it would cost a bomb but I suppose prices have dropped a bit since we were last there, austerity and all that!! So had a lovely weekend and finished up with a bbq last night. DDs grant has been sorted and all accounts done so up to date with that too. Still have the office to sort just gets so messy. DS1's room almost finished waiting for wardrobe doors to be cut and then DH will put them on and skirt the room he should be in before he sets off to france next tuesday all good here enjoying the nice weather oh and the house to myself for a change :rotfl:

Another age since I was on here. DS1s bedroom all lovely and finished, he's due home from france tomorrow, cant wait to see him as Ive never been apart from him for so long:( DD failed part of her first year at college so no grant this year and she will have to go down the student loan road hey ho, I thought it was all going too well. She has been working hard since May and has managed to get herself a little car so more expense, not mine I hasten to add, she'll be funding it, and as its from her boss he's letting her pay as and when until its paid for. DS2 and DH are off to england next week for a ten day break to his parents, so tbh Im looking forward to getting the place to myself and doing some much needed sorting out. DD's bedroom next on the hit list, weve already stripped it to the bare bones. Why is it when you decorate one room the rest of the house ends up in S**T!!!!:rotfl:

DS1 loved his room and it looks so smart. DD is working, and needs to save every cent towards this years college, bank may help her we may need to sign to say she can afford repayments so hopefully all will be sorted soon. DH and DS2 are over the pond at the mo and enjoying nice weather, dry here but a bit overcast. Cant seem to stay in bed these days and up really early. Went for a swim yesterday really enjoyed in but felt a bit too tired this morning, will go tomorrow. Trying hard to lose some weight but its coming off so slowly and fish and salad are so boring ok porridge too but its painfully slow going. Moneywise ok and trying to keep my emergency fund just that. Need to tax the car this week and pay a bit of the eleccy. Otherwise all ok.

Had quite a bit of me time over the past week, not done too much really but wish I'd done more sorting out, still loads of carp to go through. DH will be working from Monday on so will still get lots of time to do it. Need to do the uniform list soon as we are hoping to get a week in wales with my parents before school starts, early this year 25th Aug!!! Just phoned the farrier who has a backlog so cant do Neds feet for 2 wks, hope we get that done before we get away. Not much else to report, swam again this morning and off for a walk with dog now, had porridge with strawberries today (still boring) and managed another half pound off, its so slow going.:(
