I am sorry for the current problems you have been experiencing with your credit limit.
After reviewing your account I can confirm that your credit limit has been suspended. At present your external history is not meeting our credit lending criteria. This is not just based on payments but also on how much you pay, how much you have on credit, how much of your credit you are utilising, whether you are readily applying for credit etc.
I am sorry that we didn't call you to advise you of the situation, but our procedure is that we review the credit limit and update any new information via our customer's statements. As we are only a third party we do not get given your personal information we when receive our credit update, due to data protection. Therefore, we cannot pin point which part it is of our credit scoring process that hasn't been satisfied. We will let you know if this decision changes in the future.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused with your sale order. I can see that we tried to call you on the 23rd of December to discuss the order, I am sorry you didn't receive any further contact in the form of text/emails etc. "
Nothing but sorry. That was expected, but they are missing my point:
I understand that you review credit limit on a regular basics I also understand that it is my right to know when my credit is reduced. Online on the date of purchase my credit was still showing 900.00 pounds and this is only reason why I chose to shop online instead of going to the store. Orders are hold for 5 days and for some reason in those 5 days I have received one missed call only and you still had the opportunity to notify me about these changes but you chose not to. I think that under these circumstances your terms and conditions applied here are very deceiving on the consumers side. I will contact Office of Fair trading and ask them to review your terms and conditions in the matter how and when you apply them. If my credit was reduced in the middle of the month you had still a lot of time to update credit limit info online until the day I have made purchases (that is 22nd of December). It looks like using next directory account for buying items equals to the chance in winning a betting game: you buy things and then it is 50/50 - either you get them, or not.0 -

Then what is the point in providing one information about credit limit online on the account and different information in statements (these are also online). Shouldn't the info about credit limit be the same?0 -

Their clause in terms and conditions about reserving to change credit limit at any time.....When i spoke to the manager he said that they reviewing credit limit in the middle of the month (so it's around 15th - 17th ). My credit was increased on the 29th of the month and then reduced on the 23rd of next month. On the 22nd of December online it was still showing 900.00 pounds that is when i made purchase. Am I crazy to think that there is something wrong here? ")
You are completely barking up the wrong tree. You have no right to credit, indeed you have no right to shop with any particular retailer. Unfair terms cover unilateral changes in a contract, and until Next accepts your order, no contract exists, hence there has been no breach.

I thought in this day and age if you buy something on credit immediately after you try to order and there is insufficient credit your order is being declined right at the spot. Everywhere else this works, but not here.
And what is the point in giving two contradicting credit limits online and in statement at the same moment?
Next terms:
1. Yes, you are getting confirmation email about the order you have placed, but that does not mean that the order was approved...even though in it written the date of the planned delivery of ordered items.
2. Yes, online your credit limit is showing as xxx.xx, but in reality the true credit limit will be shown in statement, so disregard the credit limit you see online at this moment...

The Next decision could have been triggered by something like a missed payment on another account. Might be worth checking your credit report to make sure everything's in order. Also possible that it's just the overall picture of your finances that your credit report paints in relation to the score Next calculates for you. Worth looking into.

Good advertisingI will check my credit rating, but like I said I don't have any other credit cards, or loans or missed payments nor late payments. I never even had a overdraft on my bank account, or canceled payments. So maybe it is because I am new with credit things but then again why did they gave me credit in a first place? But thank's for reply.
