Why has the page gone if they are innocent? Having my own page I would NEVER allow a 'stranger' to use the page - facebook allows settings such as turning comments off and blocking users - Also from what I have seen the neg comments where geared towards the company not the winner and many of which where congratulating - it seemed to turn when the comment (less than 5mins later) came from a different account - so if this is true why was she going between accounts when people where congratulating her - there was no malice comments prior...... also the person commenting on here from 4am - I cant see anyone saying why are you on here at 4am so why make a deal of it??? Lots of compers are up at all hours - I think the commenter on here, the page and winner may be professing too much. As someone has said innocent until proven guilty however if innocent why delete a page that must of taken a lot to build up?? I think its best to leave it up to the investigators.....

As my non comping sis said straight away how lucky was it someone local won out of all those entrants :think:

Also if I had won a ring like that I'd be looking a lot happier in the photo - not decidedly uncomfortable.

As previously said no business page would give access to their online presence to a stranger even a grateful one.

Someone must live in the area and know this woman - I have been away from serious comping for a while has she been around entering / winning / commenting on other comps or is it beginners luck?

If it is all kosher good luck to her but if not she & the company deserve the story to be spread far & wide (just my two penneth lol )

That 'statement' from the company was FAR too long and FAR too personal. That was not written by a spokesperson for the company. I work in social media and have dealt with writing statements on behalf of large and small companies and they would never go into that much detail and say things like 'witch hunt' and go into detail about a individual's health!

They have been caught out and have now removed the page to run away.

personally i think like/share comps shouldnt be on the boards anyway ,,, its against facebook rules .... ♦ All promotions must be managed through a third-party app.
