Skillens Competition [text deleted by forum team]

It does make you wonder how may other companies do this. Nearly all comps I enter on fb seem to be like and share, I might think otherwise in future of entering these comps!
This company should be named and shamed in their local paper! How humiliating for them!

They have posted a statement which is a load of rubbish.It says they made her a temporary administrator so she could delete posts that were name calling.If I had won a £2000 ring i would not give a damn what strangers on the internet were posting about it or even bother to read coments anyway.It is annoying that people are posting as if they believe it.

I wish to advise that I know the entrant personally. I know none of you will believe this anyway so don't bother with the derogatory comments. She has never worked for that company or has never had any dealings with any of the staff or the owner. There is a witch hunt for her on Facebook which is totally unacceptable and the fact her personal details are shown on this thread is upsetting. If anyone has a problem with the competition please take the appropriate steps so all this can be rectified. I am sure the company will be willing to stand up and admit any mistakes made and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. They have made an official statement and I believe a lot of people will be eating their hats. The fact I can't sleep at 4.08 feeling the need to write this may sway some of you. Ps I am NOT the entrant or the company, believe or not I don't really care what any of you think but only for the welfare of the winner, but I know the truth!!! Thank you

I have no idea if this is true or not as did not enter the competition but if what the company is saying is true then she has been harassed/ put all over Facebook just for winning the competition.

That said if what the company is saying is true then they have been really stupid in just allowing someone in as admin to the page

I certainly feel its something for the IPM though so if you have entered the competition I would recommend you pass it onto them so they can investigate

I don't know any company that would make a competition winner an admin of their page....which is what they said in their statement!

Apologies if I have understood the whole point of a forum! I believed that it is somewhere to air your views and to do so you must first register. Whether I did it this morning at 4.00 am or 5 years ago is of no relevance and surely at some stage when you registered you had an issue you felt strongly about and wanted to comment.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I have not put any of your opinions down. I invited anyone to actually report the issue if they wanted!
I shall not be posting any more and will be removing myself from the forum if possible as obviously this is not somewhere that can cope with a democratic discussion or respect people's opinions!
